The ProtestWarrior guys are mounting a counterdemonstration to the International A.N.S.W.E.R. people's demonstration at the Pentagon on October 25, 2003. This is the email that is circulating.
Our last words to you were ‘the battle was won, but the war is just beginning’. We hope you had a restful summer because it’s time to mobilize for battle. As much as we would love to keep intellectually destroying leftist message boards, the time has come to take this fight back to the real world. If we lived in a sane world, the global community would be overflowing with gratitude towards America. We saved Europe from the menace of Nazism, our vigilance against the evil empire of Communism reduced them to the ash heap of history, and we have liberated the Iraqi people from one of the most brutal tyrants on the planet. It is because of America that tens of millions of Muslims can live free for the first time in their lives.
But this is not a sane world. The world today is one where leftists relish every attack on our soldiers as some sort of indictment against our mission to establish freedom in the Middle East. The U.N. Security Council is holding emergency meetings on behalf of the arch-terrorist Arafat, a barbarian who has billions in his Swiss bank accounts while he oppresses his people to be murderous monsters. Our universities are monolithically controlled by the Left, poisoning our kids with socialist, nihilist propaganda. And anarchists are mobilizing for new rounds of protests against the United States, while their allies in the media provide intellectual cover for the shock troops of statism.
We understand why Islamic tyrants might fear the establishment of liberty in Iraq, as freedom of religion doesn't serve their cause to establish a world enslaved to Allah. Far more bizarre is the behavior of the 'liberals', who while they seek to remove every trace of God from our country, are aligned with Islamic theocracies that are the direct antithesis of their purported values. What we have come to learn is that the Left is not an honest broker at the table, wanting the same things as we do but disagreeing on the means. We don't want the same things. We want freedom. They want power.
The time has come to take a stand.
OCTOBER 25, 2003 MARCH ON THE PENTAGON Our arch nemesis International A.N.S.W.E.R. is planning a hatefest Saturday, October 25, in our nation's capital. They plan on marching right up to the Pentagon to protest American 'imperialism' and 'occupation', and a full rostrum of the Left’s leaders are assembled to speak. You better believe the mainstream media is going to cover this as some sort of proof that American public opinion is turning against our mission in Iraq.
We have to decide if we're going to let that happen.
OPERATION EAGLE STRIKE PROTESTWARRIOR is crashing A.N.S.W.E.R.'s hatefest at the Pentagon. We won’t stop them from their rituals (in fact we’ll record them for posterity), but we’re going to be right on their shoulders, firing Patriot Truth Missiles at them. They're going to learn that while they can protest America, we can protest them. While our side has logic, reason and truth, their side has a key tactical advantage: they don't work, they don't produce anything, they don't have lives. It might surprise you to know that we hate politics, that’s why we hate the Left so much, they want to make everything politics, the only arena they can control.
We want a world where people can just live, love, work, learn and play any way they want to. But the ‘progressives’, the collectivists, the statists, they seek a different kind of world, a world where they have the power to implement their nightmare vision of a world under centralized control, their centralized control. You see, they are the true religious fanatics. As such, they will do whatever they can to destroy the two countries standing in their way: the United States and Israel.
Whether PW is just another website or becomes a mass movement of liberty-lovers is entirely up to you. Every individual counts, and I tell you, if there is but one of us for every thousand of them, we'll win. Their side is intellectually bankrupt, and for regular citizens to go disrupt their hysterical religion of hate will send them scurrying for cover. And considering the sweltering and dangerous conditions that American soldiers are enduring, the least we can do is go to our nation’s capital and defend them on the homefront.
We think Braveheart’s William Wallace said it best: "I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny. You have come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do without freedom? Will you fight? Fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live, at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willing, to trade all the days from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies, that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!"
