I also spoke with Lauren O'Conner about an hour ago.

She said that they are getting many calls.....keep it up Freepers.

She says that due to the 'separation of powers' Jeb cannot further intervene. I said that I believed he could since Terri has been denied 'due process'.

I asked that Gov. Bush, as a pro life supporter, issue a statement regarding Terri's 'death execution'.

I said that what is happening sets a terrible precedent for Florida by allowing the Judicary to 'murder a disabled person'.

Keep calling....1-850-488-4441
Ask for Lauren O'Conner.....tell her that you supported Jeb because he is pro-life & therefore you expect him to intervene in Terri's behalf.

"Separation of powers"

Well, I don't think the late Lawton Chiles would have allowed "separation of powers" to have kept him from rescuing a victim of this style execution if the victim had been a part of his core Democrat constituency. Lawton would have "walked right down" to Clearwater and rescued the afflicted one.

I think I know why Jeb won't act. If he tried to act, the case would linger for many more months. He wants to get this behind him, in my opinion.

The fact that George J. Felos and Michael Schiavo were in a fit of laughter after the hearing last Friday showed that they already knew that Bush would not intervene.
