If that happens, heads will roll at the party central office. The grassroots guys got Simon through the primaries and they'll sack Parsky et al if they do this. Or do you think that the party doesn't need the grass roots? Again, if this happens, McC is made into a martyr, and that would spell the end of the line for the liberal leaders in the GOP. McC would probably then run for Republican party state chairman or whatever the position is and clean house. Then, he'd send the $$ out to conservative politicians in their races across the state. Hmm. Looks like McC could win big either way.

Brother, you evidently don't work in the real world. In the real world, people look for revenge. With AS as governor, do you think GWB will make a couple of trips out West to try and lock up Calif's 54 electoral votes? Do you think ANYBODY at any level with the GOP will ever have anything to do with McC again after what he almost did to this election? Christ, to have both AS and Rove pissed means he might not even get a good job in the private sector.
