With a brand of racing that is as intimate as it is intense, there's no wonder why people continue to flock to "The Monster Mile." Dover, with seating for more than 140,000, is one of the most popular race destinations in the Northeast and hosts some of the biggest crowds to see a sporting event between New York and North Carolina.
This thread is dedicated to our Armed Forces members and their families worldwide and to the victims of Hurricane Isabel.

I'm surprised they didn't red-flag it for the wall repair.

Does Nascar use a yellow/red flag. I think the local rule was, hold your positions but proceed around the track or something like that...

Woo hooooo...#12 first in line for a free pass. Now we need a caution!!!
To: steveegg
If Rocketman does not get those tires changed, he is going to cause the next caution!
To: tubebender
That would be the local rule. Dunno about the yellow/red.

As long as the caution flies (and not for Newman) before Texas Terry gets himself lapped...
Terry Labonte (21st) just got lapped and would get the free pass in case of a caution.

Not a prob (that lapped traffic is something else to keep track of). Nothing like FReeping and watching NASCAR on a full stomach.

Looks like it has been a pretty clean race other than the crash by Joe.

Darn'd, Bobby brushed the wall, Caution. flat right front.
Ricky Rudd wins the "lap back lottery" by being in the right place at the right time.
