With a brand of racing that is as intimate as it is intense, there's no wonder why people continue to flock to "The Monster Mile." Dover, with seating for more than 140,000, is one of the most popular race destinations in the Northeast and hosts some of the biggest crowds to see a sporting event between New York and North Carolina.
This thread is dedicated to our Armed Forces members and their families worldwide and to the victims of Hurricane Isabel.

Speaking of Junior, he hasn't had a pole yet this year which means he's not in the Bud shootout yet.
To: NormsRevenge
That matches my usual late-for-the-East-Coast-races thing.
BTW, believe it.

Who was the first NASCAR driver to get a lap back without actually passing a car? This is going to be a great trivia question.

I do believe these rules will bite the multi-car teams in the A$$. Imagine J Gordon leading and JJ is behind him but a lap down???

Speaking of Junior, he hasn't had a pole yet this year which means he's not in the Bud shootout yet. Because Jr won this year's Shootout, he has a lifetime exemption ('tis how Geoff Bodine got to drive his brother's Hooters car this year).

Yep. I hate compromises.
Martin had a flat, and now Newman has one. Harvick now leads.

Write this date down; NBC gave up a commercial run to bring us Ryan Newman (leading at the time) pitting because of a flat right-rear tire.

You could see the 12 car bobble on the track and slide up the track a bit. I knew something was wrong, but they went to commercial anyway. I'll give them credit for coming back for his pit stop though.
Now, we'll see the new rule come into play as far as getting laps back. He definitely looks like he has the fastest car.

Right now, if there's a yellow, it's going to be Bobby Labonte Mongo Crash Gordon Park (and about to be Benson or Green because Harvick is hauling).
