Monty Patterson believes his daughter Holly Patterson did not have adequate information and supervision to go through with the abortion on her own. She died Wednesday, one week after starting a protocol prescribed by Planned Parenthood in Hayward to end her seven-week pregnancy. I wonder if Planned Parenthood and the doctor will be sued for medical malpractice.

Erin Brooks, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, said that "midlevel medieval clinicians," under the supervision of a physician, often administer the abortion drugs at Planned Parenthood clinics -- an arrangement that is allowed under a law that went into effect in January.

Perhaps if the father had paid as much attention to his daughter's "lifestyle"......he wouldn't be caught up in the manner of her death....

Planned Parenthood's new slogan,"WE NOT ONLY KILL THE BABY BUT THE MOTHER TOO"!

Abortion is so gross... turns my stomach thinking of baby fragments left over tearing up a woman's insides - how can these abortion folks live with themselves? Gives me nightmares just thinking about it.

Gee how rather kind of you.. where to begin. First of all the daughter was 18 years old.. doesn't mean the father wasn't concerned about her 'lifestyle' or not paying attention. We are all lucky if our children come out of their teens and early 20s unscathed. A very close friend of mine whose daughter is 19 had an abortion.. totally a shock to her mother.. who has taught her that abortion is wrong..sex before marriage is wrong..and paid for her daughter's catholic education..high school and now catholic university education.. guess she should've paid closer attention..

I bet this "midlevel" clinicians (what does that mean?) underestimated how far along she was- the abortion pill is only supposed to be used up to the seventh week of pregnancy, which is how far along Holly was said to be. If they calculated wrong and she was 8-9 weeks or more, the miscarriage would be been more severe.

I wonder if Planned Parenthood and the doctor will be sued for medical malpractice.I certainly hope so. When my own daughter wanted my opinion about abortion, I drove her through a Planned Parenthood Clinic parking lot during a weekday. I asked her to note the kind of cars that were parked in the "Chief MD's" spot and the centers "Executive Directors" slot. She looked at the expensive German cars, wide-eyed and said only, oh!

With all the corrupt politicians and judges in Kalifornia, the family won't even get a hearing.

To be honest I had the same thought. If the Dad didn't know she was pregnant and having an abortion I hope the poor man bankrupts them but if he was aware and supported what she was doing ,it's too late and sadly he has to share responsibility. Either way he is in my prayers. Sometimes we do things while really not knowing what we are doing, you know. Hopefully he can prevent this from happening to another girl and something good can come out of the evilness that killed his daughter and grandchild.

..."midlevel" clinicians (what does that mean?) It means that they are Nurse Practitioners or Physician's Assistants and not Physicians.

You know it is so very easy to sit in judgement of people. I have 2 sons and thankfully I had no problems with them in their teens nor now in their early 20s.. now can I say I won't in the next few years? No ~ but I say, by grace go I.
There are so many stories of women dying and being maimed by "safe legal" abortions. Of course, they are under reported and basically ignored.

Did I sound judgemental? I didn't mean to. I really feel sad for this Dad. Even the best of kids get into trouble at times.

Right to Life, CPC's (crisis pregnancy centers), etc. tried ever so hard to warn about RU-486......to no avail.
They fought this with everything they had.
They lobbied.
They pleaded.
They presented facts.
For years.
Now the results will continue to be known....the truth will come out...
That 18 yr.old is a product of propaganda of the past 30 years......we have a whole generation sold down the river, lock, stock and barrel!

"We are all lucky if our children come out of their teens and early 20s unscathed." Luck has nothing to do, with allowing minors to behave in a self destructive manner.
It has less to do with luck, than it does with family character and early childhood training by PARENTS who place their children's care above EVERYTHING...and do it themselves...
Our children that once felt they suffered a fate worse than death ----being under the watchful eye of their "all seeing mom and dad" are now both successful professionals and behaving EXACTLY as we did when they were being raised.....

#3..You know they won't!
The hospital will take the brunt of this, just wait and see.
Planned Parenthood and the abortionist will come out squeaky clean.
Look, we're talking San Francisco.....and the father will be so intimidated, he will not want to put blame on PP.
The deep pockets of the hospital will feel the brunt of this.
Even I have a question of why they sent her home with just pain pills......but she might not have been forthcoming about the abortion ....
