North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il is “crazy,” said Maj. Gen. John K. Singlaub U.S. Army (ret.), but he has been effective at getting his way. At the recent speech at the Leadership Institute’s Wake-Up Club Breakfast, the general noted that Pyongyang has successfully used verbal threats and physical intimidation to influence international public opinion and policy, especially in neighboring Japan and South Korea.

Sorry that it is excerpted it is very long and the pictures and links didn't work so well when I tried to post it as is.

I would appreciate some critiques on the form used. Links to more in-depth info are integrated into the text. Key phrases are bolded and pics of the general are thrown in as well.

Does this make it easier to read and more interesting, or do you find it 'too busy'?
