[history]
Retired Gen. Wesley Clark has thrown his helmet into the ring. He has improved the Democratic presidential field by entering it, just as he improved the Army by leaving it.
Gen. Clark is a brilliant man, and a brave one. A Rhodes scholar, he was decorated three times for heroism as commander of an armor company in Vietnam.

"
Gen. Clark "is able, though not nearly as able as he thinks, and has tended to put his career ahead of his men to the point of excess," said a defense consultant well acquainted with the Army's senior officers. "He is opportunistic and lacks integrity. He will be an absolute menace if he gets into a position where he can exert influence on the Army because he lacks true vision and is prone to be vindictive."Is it any wonder the Clintonese recruited this pos?

Doesn't his military map also include command of the forces from Ft. Hood Texas that took part in the raid at Waco? Anyone have the details?

After a Serb surrender had been negotiated with the help of the Russians, Gen. Clark ordered British Lt. Gen. Michael Jackson to parachute troops onto the airport at the Kosovar capital of Pristina, so NATO would hold it before Russian peacekeepers arrived. Gen. Jackson refused. "I'm not going to start the Third World War for you," he told Gen. Clark, according to accounts in British newspapers.
Kindly note that Russian military doctrine nowadays is a mirror-image of NATO doctrine in the 1970s--the Russians have stated that, due to the weakness of their armed forces, they will resort to nuclear weapons early (read: "first thing out of the gate") in the event of a war with NATO.
In other words, to salvage his wounded pride, Clark was willing to court a nuclear exchange.
Do we really want someone who is stupid AND crazy running the country?

He was the commander of the 1st Cav, stationed at Fort Hood. The BATF used some training ranges at Hood. The military hardware came from the Texas National Guard, not the Regular Army.

This shows where the Democrat Party is headed. They are a bunch of power hungary MAD people that will come together under one banner after they have chosen the best liar in the bunch to become Americas dictator.
Americans had better awaken while they can because the Democrats are well set to push their agenda through and lead us to a dictatorship.
All of their leaders are really not qualified for anything but are being promoted by the liberal media with the help of foreign and domestic backers that are dead set on overthrowing America as we have lived it in the past.
Hillary is still in this scenerio and what does she,Clark or a matter of fact any of these people who are their front runners have to offer other than lies and deception and a quest for personal power.
Just a Bill Clinton himself said they didnt have a pot to piss in until after leaving the Whitehouse and now him and Hiaary are multi-millionaires who have never done a days work in their total lives. WAKE UP AMERICA!

All the reviews I've heard from former colleagues of Clark have ranged from very negative to
"damning with faint praise".

It is clear to me now why Clinton rose him in the ranks.

How many collateral civilian casualties were there in the Kosovo "war"? Anybody know?
