I've finally figured out what's best for California. Let the democrats vote no on recall yes on Bustamante. Then let's fight between ourselves until October 7th. The California republic will be well served.

Bustamante will win and like Jimmy Carter, implement policies that will damage us for the next thirty years. In 2006 a republican will be elected, but after an eight year term they won't undo the worst of Bustmante's actions.

In 2028 we'll find ourselves dealing with the chronies and policies Bustamante appointed over those three years decades earlier.

Damn, that's brilliant. I can relax now.
