Everyone knows it was a self-important lie.

But this can't be!!! Peach has assured all of us that Clark has claimed specifically that he received a call from the White House on 9/11. Which is exactly what this article confirms.

I hope this puts a steak in the heart of his campaign but since it is supposedly a clinton spectacle, I doubt it.
To: GoOrdnance
Clark lied - why can't you just face the fact and stop blaming everyone else? Sheesh, you sound like a Clinton knee-padder.
To: Diogenesis
Thanks for the link Dio.... Clark is buddies with a guy who pushed tainted blood..........hmmm!

Clark first implied the call, not long after the attacks, might have come from White House, then later said it came from a Middle Eastern think tank in Canada. He has never identified the caller. This article seems to confirm what I've been saying all along. In addition, I've provided you with the transcript from MSNBC's web site regarding Clark's exact words to Tim Russert.
You can try to spin it any way you wish, but Clark has lied repeatedly about this matter.

So now he didn't get the "shrinking call" on 9 / 11 after all.
Lemme ask you somethin'.
If YOU had this conversation on 9 / 11, wouldn't you remember what day it was?
To: GoOrdnance
What about the following statement from the article don't you understand: Clark first implied the call, not long after the attacks, might have come from White House, then later said it came from a Middle Eastern think tank in Canada.

Agree with you that this is a Clinton spectacle and would assume shortly that the media will be all at Clark's feet and negative articles will be no more from the mainstream press.
That means it is up to Freepers to dig up and post the dirt on Clark! Someone has to get out the info on Clark and might as well be Freepers and a few of the media friendly to the truth!

"Clark first implied the call, not long after the attacks, might have come from White House, then later said..."No, Clark first SAID the call came from the White House - there was no "implied" involved.
Typical revisionists already at work.
