Clark has lied, publicly, so many times about this I'm almost embarrassed for him. He obviously flunked Spinning 101.

You're quite welcome. Isn't it grand that the internet makes it so much easier to expose the liars and spinners?

Look at the posters background. It is not at all uncommon for there to be hero worship of generals from the troops who may have had some remote association with them.

Of course, this is pure speculation on my part, but based on many years of association with the military and a few generals as well.

Personally, although I never met him, General Chesty Puller, USMC, was a hero of mine, but like most generals, could not have been elected Dog Catcher.

The phraseology seems very, very careful.

A Democratic specialty this year. Comes from awareness that the dwarves voted, under Clinton, for the 1998 Iraq Liberation Act.

Does the name Thomas Hecht ring any bells? I'm thinking Canadian blood scandal.

Yes, several reporters have written articles using exact quotes about how many times Clark's story has changed. I think we're up to three but would have to check my Clark files.

If research can tie Clark to some of the scandals mentioned by Freepers in previous threads, we'll have to make sure it gets published.

Part of the problem is in thimes of crisis trying to sound like one knows more than one actually does. It's human nature of the "expert," maybe fostered by high-velocity cable news.

Clark isn't the first to shoot off his mouth and pay for it. They never admit, "Hey, I didn't know what the f' I was talking about" because that admission is worse. Conspiracy theories ensue...
