Thanks for the bump.
People that are fleeing to all points to escape this epic invasion are spinning their wheels, as it's waiting for them when they get to where ever their going.
Kinda of sad, that many were willing to give up their home states, families and where they grew up, only to find that it's either following them, or waiting for them when they get there.
Me? I'll stand and fight, and keep exposing the root cause of this massive invasion, which is the *federal government*. As our so-called leaders in DC stand in stone silence, as the people of America continue to scream and demand relief from this epic flood of people entering our country illegally.
This doesn't even include those that are entering legally by the thousands every week, since President Bush has seen to it that there will be no moratoriums on legal immigration, even after the slaughter of thousands of our people on 911 and the loss of *millions* of jobs.
This my friend is one big time bomb.

Yeah it is a national problem and almost all of the Republicans are looking the other way. Illegals here are overcrowding our hospitals, schools and prisons (murderers and drug dealers). Heads deep in the sand, with hands over ears......

I have at least deferred the necessity to speak Spanish when I go to the store. I grew up in Chula Vista, CA. It looks like a swanky suburb of Tijuana today. The "new" shopping mall in Bonita was a sea of latinos and blacks on my last visit. I saw only 8 other white people during my 90 minute visit to the mall. In contrast, I see only a few hispanic farm workers around Walmart in the evenings in Pocatello. The only restaurants in town with a Spanish speaking staff are the Cantera's Mexican restaurant and Chapala Mexican restaurant. Chapala replaced a Chinese restaurant that was using slave labor that only spoke Mandarin Chinese. That was a real treat :-( I'll take the Spanish speakers who are making an attempt to function in English.

Hispanics Largest Growing Population In Idaho-puts more pressure on public schools, must change. I know its hard to deal with, and now you get to watch it all over again in Idaho.
Oh, and don't think about moving to Alaska, Anchorage and many other towns are loaded with illegal aliens too.
Sad, aint it?
To: BlessedByLiberty; Regulator
If it begins making a dent in the bottom line, it should bring about policy changes. Quicker than a NY minute and I will follow your lead and ask family and friends to demand English only transactions.
I wish to correct my earlier post in which I erroneously stated shopping at Wal-Mart. It should have read K-Mart, however it's difficult to tell the difference these days. I expect they will shortly adopt the same policy as Wal-Mart Celebrates Home, Family and Traditions During Hispanic Heritage Month
Regulator, for odds and ends K-Mart offered convenience in driving, however I will now travel 20 minutes further to Connecticut and deprive this State the tax revenue.

It
is hard to figure out which stores to patronize. You don't know till you try. My wife keeps going to those places and complaining about the service - and I simply look at her like "haven't we had this conversation before?".
The way I feel about it is that by hiring bottom of the barrel people, the store is insulting me, their customer. Some people shrug and say, 'well, what do you care if it's cheap?'. My response is...I want it all! Good service, low prices. By giving me bad service, the company pockets the difference, because typically, their prices are not much lower than places playing the game straight up. So...why abuse myself? I go to the places that I have found that do a good job and have reasonable prices. Seems to have worked out.
Those stores want the low end, bottom of the barrel customers? Let them have them. We go elsewhere. Such places exist! And, surprisingly, their prices are usually not too different.

Perhaps if we all begin adding a letter to every company with whom we have accounts that we want all employees versed in English, that we want all transactions conducted in English or we will no longer do business with their stores, This is an excellent idea and one with the best chance of working because it hits people in their wallets.
I walked out of a Walgreen's last year, leaving my potential purchases on the counter because the guy ringing me up didn't speak English and couldn't understand a question I had asked. I later called the manager and complained. His response was lackadaisical, so I haven't been back and have encouraged my friends to shop at the drugstore on the next block instead.

At least I won't have to relive it as a student or parent of a student. By the time it gets bad enough to make the taxation significant, I'll be operating on a retirement income that should be below the radar for "rich" people. It's sad to watch it happen again.

Good for you!
Your experience is why I think we should we should add the name of the manager or at least the date and time we contacted same to express our displeasure. Let the powers that be in the companies know that nothing is being done at the management level to combat it.
Also, copies of the letters enclosed in the payments should be sent to the Public Relations Officers of the companies. Believe me when I say, that will get some attention. VP's, CEO's Presidents are all fine and good, however, they rarely see actual complaints. However,PR officers are very sensitive to growing bad relations with customers.
BTW, please feel free to pass this idea onto friends and family.

"Considering that Idaho has a small population, it will be easy for the state to turn into a Hispanic-majority state in 10 years."
I don't think that will happen because so many conservative white people from California are moving up to Idaho. I myself will be moving to Idaho as soon as we close escrow on my house in San Diego. California is driving the productive high-income white people out of this state into neighboring states, especially Nevada and Arizona. Also, Mexicans grow up in the warm climate of Mexico and generally don't like the cold winters in states like Idaho.
Idaho is a Republican state and it's likely to stay that way. Demographic momentum is hard to stop in any state. Democrats and minorites are taking over some states while Republicans congregate in Bush Country (the Flyover states.) I'm not concerned about Mexico taking over California because we have a much stronger army than they do. California is becoming really polarized however, with the high-income Republicans living in a zone next to the Coast while democrats and minorities are taking over the inland zone of metropolitan areas. Republicans still dominate the farmlands of the Central Valley.

Now how many Mexicans have you talked to about the climate in Mexico and the kind of climate they like. I speak Spanish and I've talked to a lot of Mexican immigrants here in San Diego. 75% of them don't like the cold winters in the Midwest and Northeast. That's one reason why so many stay in California and Arizona, in addition to their desire to live near family and friends. You disagree with me but you don't cite one fact or personal experience to support your case. (Just beatin' on your fellow conservatives I guess.)

I'd say what we lack is a leader...A voice that can get some media time...Pat Buchanan was the last voice we heard on the ills of open borders...There's a fella named Tancredo but he doesn't get much air time...
IF all of the Mexicans in California vote for the Mexican candidate, California will have a Mexican governor...How long will it be before there are enough Mexicans in all of the States to elect all Mexican governors???
I have nothing personal against Mexicans or any other race...But when you hear the stories about Mexicans booing the American Flag at sports events in the U.S. of A., I am more than happy to keep their numbers in the minority...
If FR is any indication, we apparently can't count on Republicans to pick up the torch and run with it...Most of them are too busy playing the stock market to be bothered by a little Sovereignty...But then if not them, who???

To: Joe Hadenuf
I did read it of course. The article cites population growth rates but doesn't discuss the percentage of the Idaho population that is Hispanic at this time. I doubt that this percentage is more than 5-10%. If you can find that number, let us all know what it is.

PENNSYLVANIA) 90 illegal Immigrants Found At T.J. Maxx
Times-Shamrock ^ 9-17-03| By Joe Sylvester
At least 90 illegal immigrants who were working at the T.J. Maxx distribution center in Pittston Township were in this country illegally, the township police chief said the federal government discovered.
To: chance33_98
Why is it that through these many years of immigration, immigrants changed to fit into schools and now we are caving to jerks like Esquibel who demands that "schools must address the needs of Hispanic students?" Why is it so hard to understand that to live in another country, one must assimilate that language and culture or find limited success. I mean, I can't imagine the Germans or French bending over backwards to accomodate immigrants in those countries.

How many 'spics does it take to equal 10.5% out of Idahos population?
Idaho is 88% white.
More 'spics live in Brooklyn than the entire population of Idaho.
Cold climates and 'spics don't mix.
