Looks like I spoke too soon... a tree just crashed though our roof into the upstairs bedroom, right over the bed. Nobody hurt, but I don't expect I'll be posting again for a while... stay safe.

I'm sorry about your tree - that's a mess to deal with. I'm glad nobody was hurt. We had a couple of trees fall on our garage about 3 years ago. It sure made a lot of noise, and DH had his hands in the electrical box (in the garage) when it happened. Fortunately, he's fine and thanks to a wonderful insurer (there's at least one good one out there), everything was repaired and roof replaced.
We have our fingers crossed . . . lots of trees still around us.
