OK so maybe "Rhymes with Orange" is occasionally cute and "Get Fuzzy" has a nice dry sardonic bite and of course "Boondocks" is the wonderfully bitter non-PC lightning rod du jour and some people for some reason really, really love "Zippy the Pinhead," though I'm still not sure why.

Not much to get offended about in today's effort. I'm glad to see that she managed to include the obligatory masturbation referrence.

"Boondocks" is the wonderfully bitter non-PC lightning rod du jour Weird. I actually thought about this old cartoon the other day. It just disapeared.
And no complaints that it did either. It was one of the original PC garbage strips. It was the epitome of PC.

Hey, Opus. If you ever go to San Fran, I'd be careful, it seems that Ms. Morford has a crush on you. It'll make flossing your beak off seem tame by comparison.

It's hard to be stupid when you praise "Bloom County".
He DOES go a bit overboard with the analysis, but then again, that's what he's paid to do.

"Bloom County" was that most rare of comic art. Smart, politically charged, sardonic, tender, humane, not angry or savage or mean-spirited but still wonderfully opinionated and liberal Liberal? I guess Ms. Morford never saw this strip:

I guess Ms. Morford was too young back then...

And to this very day my own mother still sends me clipped copies of "Zits" to remind me of my teenage whitebread middle-American rocker-dude slacker heyday.Miss Morford a "rocker dude," who woulda thunk it?

LOL! That's one of my favorites. The Radical Republicans taking over the university (and insisting the cops bash in their heads)was a great series of strips as well.

Hey isn't that liberal in the strip that same pony-tailed guy from the 92 debate that Limbaugh is always ragging on?

And when the comics page suffers, so suffers the readership. That's more true in Democrat areas. Being a leftist means the government is your parent and you never have to grow up. The comics page is not as funny to him now because he's not 12 anymore, though he wishes he still was, or at least wishes the world would serve him an adult version of childhood.
