The spelling of Jayson Blair's first name suggests that he is black.

I know a white kid in his 20s whose name is spelled the same way. So much for that generalization.

"Burning down my masters house" Gee, how incredibly Jesse Jackson of him. He fabricates stories but the white man is the villan as usual. What a piece of waste. The white man enslaved him to do this terrible deed, and he was treated like a slave. I`ve no doubt that the stupid mutts who lined up in droves to buy Hitlerys book, will be the same ones who will line up for this one as well and eat up every word. "The master forced me to steal other peoples stories" Oh you poor man! Excuse books I call them. Honor and accountability go out the window and they unbelievably get rewarded by it.

Hey, this would make a great TV series.

Every week Jayson could figure out a new way to dumb down journalism, fool the reader, and screw the NYT, as well.

The happy ending would take place in the book publisher's office where Jayson would receive a huge advance for being the penultimate victim, and is rewarded for his ability to be a lying, spiteful ex-NYT employee.
