The WUSA shut down operations five days before the Women's World Cup, saying it didn't have enough money to stay in business for a fourth season. The decision was made by the league's board of governors Monday at a meeting in New York. The Atlanta-based league planned an announcement later in the day, spokesman Dan Courtemanche said.

By the way, it's the lesbians and lefty lesbian lovers in the media who badmouth Anna K.
And don't you wonder why someone who would be a natural TV draw on the tennis court is NEVER seen or shown playing tennis on TV? In the events she does enter she's NEVER on.
The lesbians would rather that we watch the mannish women, with lesbian commentators doing the play-by-play (you know, that butchy brunette with the lesbian-lisp?)
