Fox News Alert ^ | 14 SEP 03 | dcbryan1

Gray out Davis, and Bill Krington at the First AME Church showing their "godliness" and they are such good chuch folk.

Julian Bond (NAACP) is in there with them. This just may be the largest gathering of democrat athiest (since democrats believe Govt. is supreme to God) in the First AME Church in a long time.

Praying for God to re-enter that Church and cleanse it.

Nothing follows...just watching the heresy within God's church. Im suprised they both didn't explode into flames when they entered the Church doors.

Yes. It is pandering, and according to script. It's right out of their "scripted" playbook.

---snip

To help you meet your fundraising and attendance goals, this kit provides you the know-how and technical assistance you need to make your party a success.

Party hosts will also be invited to participate in a conference call briefing about the campaign with Julian Bond, President of the NAACP, and key campaign consultants.

Additional campaign materials will be provided.

Remember, you don’t have to be an expert to host a party, you just have to care about quality healthcare, education and civil rights for all Californians.

Content provided by Americans for a Fair Chance (AFC), a project of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund (LCCREF), Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, Equal Justice Society and the Coalition for an Informed California. Information taken in part from the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force model House Party Kit.

---end of snips

During Prop 209 in CA; AME and "other" churches threatened to kick out (of their churches) anyone who didn't actively fight against Prop 209. These articles were published in the newspapers.

Somebody in the area should be outside the "church" with signs demanding that their tax-exempt status be revoked.

It's too far for me to drive there in under three days...

"OOPS, there goes the AME tax exemption."

While yes, the tax-exemption should clearly be removed, it never will, because no one has the political will to do that. That shows weakness on the part of Conservatives, and the liberal black community leverages that weakness with impunity.

Just a hunch, but if someone stood up to that b/s, the Conservatives would get a whole lot more respect in the black community, and in others. That may seem counter-intuitive, but in the long run, I'll bet I'd be right.

You may well be. The Wall of Separation is translucent for the left and insurmountable to the right solely becuase one side has more testosterone than the other. Sad.

New gig for BJ. Opening comedy act for Wayne "Danke Schein" Newton in Vegas. Plus lots of showgirls, all prettier than Grave Davis or Gary Coleman.

What they're doing is driving a racial wedge.

Davis is responding to a recent question "Now that you bought the Hispanics, what are you going to do for me?". The answer is "See I have the support of the only black president and I'll do for you".

Clinton is simply practicing his patented form of racial politics. Jesse Jackson will soon follow on Davis' arm. The result will that Davis may stay in office and blacks will be invigorated in their distrust of Hispanics.

The bulkanization of California. White, non-Hispanics, gathered in their gentrified enclaves leaving blacks and white Hispanics to fight it out it the remaining, third world ghetto that was once the heart of California's giant economic engine.

Is it my imagination, or does he lay the Southern accent on a LOT thicker for Black churchgoers?

He is very good at maintaining his Arkansas accent even after years at Yale, Oxford, Moscow. Don't think for a minute that he couldn't have adopted another accent if it would have helped his political carreer. The whole purpose of the Clinton candidacy and presidency was to have a 1960s radical who could pass himself off as a "good old boy" to enough southern white males to pick off enough southern states to win the Electoral College. Fortunately after eight years of the Clinton presidency, enough southerners saw through his facade to deny his chosen successor (Algore) the presidency.

As long as blacks allow themselves to be used like this, they will remain on The Plantation.

Al Sharpton may not have much right, but he has this right; the black community is the mistress of the Democrat Party!

I watched the AME church campaign on 3 different channels here in California. The news articles at the same channels' websites portrayed it as Clinton and Davis "attending church services", but what I saw was far from just attending.

The preacher introduced Davis, and when he finished his political statement, he introduced Clinton to make his political statement. They're not going to fight this right-wing power grab...blah, blah..applause, applause.

The news also stated that Davis has been regularly "attending" different churches ever since the recall effort.
