I asked them why McClintock couldn't use his tribal gaming donations to pay for their ads.

What a mean-spirited comment.

(I knew I liked you for a reason ...)

I love the most extreme Tombots, though. They pray for a unconstitutional ruling from the 9th Circuit, and they now view the LA Times as fair and balanced coverage, despite a known history of tampering with polls to get the results they want.

Thanks for the link:

http://www.ca-ra.org

Funny, on their website they say this:

"For the past decade, the CRA Newspaper has been an important part of electing Republicans to state and local office."

and now they are spending their money to attack another Republican, to make sure a Democrat wins.

The governor of CA has nothing to do with the abortion debate.
All you are doing is getting Bustamante elected and he is for late term abortion which Arnold is not.

If the anti-abortion crowd had a brain among them long ago, they should have fought the battle as:
"No abortion except for rape, incests, children getting pregnant or the life and death health of the mother."
Had the anti-abortion crowd went all along for that instead of all or nothing, we would have several more millions of lives saved instead of none.

So like abortion, Tom is being voted on in as the all or nothing choice and as has happened every time that has happened before, you get a big NOTHING!

Tom isn't and can't win. He is just a big wind with minor support across the state.

The fact his judgment is so poor (as shown by being here), I would think he is unfit for officer any way Saundra.

A vote down a hole for McClintock is a vote and passive approval for Bustamante in a bent intention of conservatism.

No, they're spending their money to expose a liberal in an attempt to get the conservative to win.

You and a choice few here at the end of this thread seem to travel in packs from thread to thread really should get lives. You come off as nothing more than paid political hacks.

Did Arnold promise to use you as extras in his next movie or something?

So you consider Bustamante a conservative and prefer him to Arnold?

Their phone message was offensive.

They could have just said nice things about Tom, urging people to vote for him. I could understand that, although I think it is highly misguided, to be charitable.

But instead, they chose to attack another Republican, rather viciously, at that.

This is NOT a primary.

I guess it's the "Dog in the manger" or "scorched earth" attitude: if Tom can't win, than another Republic shouldn't either, let California be destroyed under Dem "leadership".

DId you see this article?

This is exactly the kind of bill that Davis and Bustamante can't wait to sign, and Arnold would veto. (It's irrelevant what Tom would do, because he has zero chance of being elected)

CA State Senate approves health insurance bill
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/981520/posts

"The California Senate voted 24 to 14 today to require employers to provide health coverage for up to 1.5 million uninsured California workers, sending the measure to the state Assembly for action. "

Your juvenile antics aside, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the liberal (RINO) Republican candidate, remains a chicken s**t coward and doesn't have the cojones to debate Tom McClintock. Arnold even admits he doesn't want to debate McClintock. Said so today on the radio.

Just like his supporters are losing, up and down the threads here on FreeRepublic, Arnold realizes, he would lose in any debate with McClintock and that would reduce his lead by several points in the polls.

Political campaigns are about winning elections, but not at any cost. If you're a conservative Republican, "not at any cost" means, not at the cost of supporting and electing a liberal like Arnold.

Why should he debate Tom McClintock?

He isn't running against him, after all...

I think Arnold just doesn't want to embarress McClintock.

I admire him for not trouncing a fellow Republican like McClintock. The man needs to hang onto whatever little shred of decency he has left.

Suppose Arnold and Tom both get 25%, and Bustamante get 30%. Who wins?

PS. Before you start the "let Arnold withdraw" mantra: suppose Arnold withdraws, probably half his support will go to Tom and half to Bustamante. Then Bustamante will have 42.5%, Tom will still only have 37.5% and loses.

100% of Tom's support would go to Arnold (assuming that McClintock supporters would act sensibly, but humor me, theoretically), then Arnold would get 50% to Bustamante's 30%, Arnold and the REPUBLICANS win.

That's what extremists do - forget the dictum "The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend."

Your opinion is wrong. Please change it.

If the only thing he does is get rid of the DL for illegals, it was a good choice.

What will you get when McC loses? Worse, what will your failure to think this through impose on working families of California?

Do the principled thing. Vote for Schwarzenegger.
