Let's hope that Pregerson doesn't see this poll...

I don't think the Nine Circus gives a damn about the Constitution or the law if it thinks it can get away with it...

I've thought all along that the ninth would stop the recall, especially if they see Arnold as leading.

The survey then presented the official list of 135 replacement candidates to choose from.

Dammit, they didn't publish the detailed results. I'm dying to know if my brother's mother-in-law is polling at 0.001% or better.

What happened to Tom's surge? Eight percent, he seems to be headed the wrong direction.

What I love about these poll threads:

If Tom's numbers are up, the RINOs viciously attack him as some kind of traitor who will hand Bustamante the election. When Tom's numbers are down, they belittle him as being completely irrelevant.

I wish these RINO jackals would give it a rest.

This is the first poll in California to use the actual ballot rather than the questioner reading just a few names. You would think that would bump up the totals for the lesser candidates. Instead, the percents for the lesser candidates went DOWN.

To understand what is happening here, read my article of a month ago, "Nuts and Bolts in California." Because this poll was conducted somewhat like the election itself, this poll is more likely to be accurate than any of the others. IMHO.

I have read some of the works by this Inyegar guy who helped design this poll. He is a heavyweight player. His articles on bias in the media are pretty solid, well-crafted research, and, surprisingly, results that tend to support our side.

That said, there is a difference between "likely" and "registered" voters. They are NOT the same.

Oral Argument in 9th Circus Punchcard Ballot (CA Recall) Case

Click on this link -- a .wma file -- to hear the lengthy (!) oral argument in this case brought by the ACLU to halt the recall election, on the grounds that punchcard ballots -- the ones that reelected Gray Davis in 2002 -- aren't fair in 2003.
