What I don't get is why doesn't FR software detect identicle posts and discard copies. I don't see a reason why that couldn't be done.

Would those cause intermittent problems like that? I would assume that a faulty connection would be Go-NoGo, all or nothing situation.I assumed the same thing once. My signal was gradually degrading, though. Not intermittent like yours. If you're experiencing a good connect/bad connect/good connect, etc...you probably do have something else. Still - it wouldn't hurt to replace the splitters if they're >2 years old...weather with the expanding/contracting of the connectors wears 'em out eventually. You never can tell. BTW - there was nothing wrong that I could see with my TV signal, either.

I don't mind the double posts but here is something I find odd...
When someone double posts, they come back and state "Sorry for the double post".
Well, DUH! I assummed you were HAPPY about the double post.
I've never understood why people feel the need to do that????
