Are y'all gonna join us for lunch on June 9th at Legends' Brewery for the infamous RedTableMeeting? Alas I most probably will have to decline. Logistics and finances really make a trip to Richmond impossible at this time.
We would have to leave the Shore around breakfast to make lunch in Richmond and then immediately turn around to come back because of a meeting that evening. Other than some odd jobs, and my couple hours a week tending bar, neither my husband nor I have had a "real" job since the fall (I haven't had one in 5 years) so the cost of even a day trip is prohibitive to us at this point.
I really, really want to meet you all, but just can't do it right now.

Richmond roadtrip to the Eastern Shore...LOL!! Sounds like a winner to me!!!! My house may be tiny, but I've got nearly 2 acres for pitching tents or parking motorhomes! And we've got lots of great places to eat around here.
BTW...MUD met you at the 2004 Inaugural Party...he says, "Howdy!!"

Rats, we missed the seafood festival, didn't we? Yup -- that is the 1st Wednesday in May. We didn't make it this year either. I spoke with folks that night who had been there and folks were real disappointed this year. They had upped the number of tickets to be sold and food started running out rather early.
How about the running of the ponies? I've always wanted to be there for that.
Pony Penning is the last (or next to last) Wednesday of July, the auction is Thursday, and they do the pony return swim on Friday. I will check the dates on that.
