Myself, I think it's teetering right now.
My own opinion has gone from very high (voted for him in the last election), to very low. And each day his stubborn egomania keeps him in, hurting California's chances, I think less of him. (And his advocates here ain't helping me think different.)

Exactly ! That's why Ah-nold needs to get out and endorse the REAL Republican, Tom McClintock.

Know what? Up until now I've had an open mind on this guy (I hadn't really seen him interviewed before). I'm not sure I like what I see. He is extremely stubborn.
It's about getting Davis/Bustamante OUT. Sheesh.
P.S. Sean was being very patient and gracious, IMHO.

(Yes on Recall, No on Bustamante.)

stubborn egomaniaI wonder how much of that egomania was aided and abetted by Rush tearing down Arnold's credentials when he announced? It seems to me that Rush's comments egged on Ca. Republicans to hang with their principles, that true conservatism was the only thing worth fighting for.
Of course, such statements ignored the reality of who could really win the election, a reality that was apparent to all as soon as Arnold announced. Rush basically became an enabler of support to Bustamente.
These election dynamics has been discussed for several weeks here on FR and McClintock's chances have not increased. For all of Rush's self-proclaimed wisdom, sometimes his vision does not extend far beyond his own ego.
I think winning is what CA pubbies should be fighting for, getting someone with an (R) after his name in the Governor's mansion, and not egg all over their collective face for successfully initiating a recall only to fall flat in getting one of their guy's elected.
