I hate to say it but after the most recent poll results, I think McClintock's support is going to decrease as more republicans 'see the writing on the wall'.

I am voting more AGAINST BOOSTYOURTAXES AND DAVIS THAN anything now.  And of course, voting in favor of Prop. 54.

Personally, I don't think it matter if Tom drops out or not.  Republican voters, for the most part, are pretty informed on what is going on.  

In fact, Tom should not drop out in case of a 'late hit' on Arnold by the Dems.

I was extremely disappointed in McClintock's interview with Sean. McClintock stated a couple of times and Sean called him on it-that Buffet was "the chair" of AS's economic advisory committee.Buffet is the "co chair",as McC well knows. Buffet said in an interview yesterday,that he doesn't take it personally that AS ignores his advice and that he is one of 18 advisors, most of them Republican. McC focused on the past,on things that Pete Wilson had done,to portend what AS will do and Sean called him on that.It was pretty obvious there is a blood feud between McC and Wilson.McC kept saying that AS refused to take the no tax pledge and Sean called him on that, as many of us heard AS take a no tax pledge( with the natural disaster caveat) on Sean's show.But,he hasn't signed the same paper that McC has. Then McC said that AS was " copying" him,by espousing some of the same positions. It seemed more important for McC to take credit for proposals, than to argue their merits. McC sounded bitter and petty and unfocused.The fundamental problem for McClintock is that he is running against Pete Wilson and Arnold,while Arnold is running against Bustamonte and Davis.

From the get go political startigists knew that Schwarzenegger wouldn't appeal to the 10% of the electorate on the far, conservative right. They gambled that Schwarzenegger could pull enough from the center/swing to overcome that 10% disadvantage.

Schwarzenegger may well do that but at the present he isn't. That 10% will not change even if McClintock withdraws.

Then might I suggest either you dont tune in or you encourage your candidate not to appear or better yet to get out of the race.

*my* candidate? McClintock is one of California's candidates, as are Simon, Schwarzenegger, Bustamante, Ueberroth, Huffington, Camejo, and others. I don't own anyone. Hannity is fine sometimes, so I won't tune out simply because he is interviewing a candidate for CA. Since I live in CA, I am genuinely interested when a candidate is interviewed. He simply did a poor job of interviewing (from any objective standard).

Hannity & Colmes is on the air to make money for Rupert Murdoch and investors, not to push any agenda. Its a television show. It's not propaganda.

I completely agree. Given that their audience is mostly outside of CA, it makes sense that they should make the show interesting for tha majority of their audience. Since McClintock is relatively unknown in the other 49 states, compared to action-hero Schwarzenegger, it makes sense for these programs to appeal comfortably to their star-struck fans.
