I have not entirely made up my mind between Arnold or McClintock. So, I really should not comment on this thread at the moment.
I will come back when I make up my mind and call all those who disagree with my choice dumbasses.
Take care all!

McClintock's apparently got more momentum in the past several weeks than Arnold has. According to the Field Poll of 9/7 and 8/10, arnold is plus 3% and Tom plus 4%. I don't see any big difference in momentum.

FYI, Sean began the recall process backing McClintock and he was not happy with Schwarzenegger.
It is possible you are hearing something that was not there, (like hostility) since he was an admirer of McClintock and I don't think that has changed. Like many Republicans Hannity has concluded that Schwarzenegger has the best chance. It seems to me McClintock cannot bring himself to say one gracious thing about his opponent, and his supporters are focused on demonizing Schwarzenegger and any who support him.

With all due respect, were you listening? He was not only hostile, but sounded like he was annoyed to have to be conducting the interview.
I was very disappointed. I normally like Sean very much.
To: Cacophonous
Hannity does that all the time. He is so anxious to appear aggressive and incisive, hard-hitting and Ann Coulter-like that he loses sight of the issues and just sounds rude. It has the effect of preaching only to the choir and convincing noone. He was almost exactly the same with Bill Simon in every single interview last fall. Hannity avoided the real issues in favor of asking questions about polls, yet doesn't allow the interviewees to finish complete sentences.
Maybe that style appeals more to the nationwide audience, but as a Californian I find his interviews of McClintock or of Simon were big wastes of time. Hannity sounds rude whenever he doesn't agree with his interviewee.

Arnold clearly doesn't care if he wins or not, doing virtually everything possible to aggravate his base. No, not "clearly". In fact, it is clear he does want to win and there is not bit of evidence to support your contention.
Of course, the careless use of language explains the faulty premise.

The faulty premises are that McClintock is splitting the vote because only Schwarzenegger is electable.

He is taped delayed here, and I said "it is possible", not a matter of fact.
I'm not disbelieving your characterization, nor do I ignore those who thought McClintock did not come off well.
I was pointing out, though, the fact that Sean started out anti-Schwarzenegger, and this was not a case of him having it out for McClintock from the get-go, as some seemed to think.

Hannity is probably sick and tired of Colmes' McClintock pushing.

I was pointing out, though, the fact that Sean started out anti-Schwarzenegger, and this was not a case of him having it out for McClintock from the get-go, as some seemed to think. I understood that point. But then, that was then...and this is now. He should have conducted a professional interview and at least tried to keep his emotionalism out of it.
No wonder McClintock was frustrated.

FYI, Sean began the recall process backing McClintock and he was not happy with Schwarzenegger.I had the opposite impression, as did many other listeners. But, anyway, that was discussed last month on FR.

That's not entirely the case - in 2000 we learned that rarely - if ever - are absentee ballots counted in California. As an aside, I always said that Voter Reform in the Bay Area simply means putting lead weights in the ballot boxes to make sure that they STAY down.

There are rumors that the port of Long Beach is full of 'em too...
To: cyncooper
I disagree. I thought Sean was very hostile and clearly had taken the position that McClintock should drop out - despite what Sean's says about supporting him, blah, blah, - and was trying to drive that point home. He did say, in the end, that whomever of the two is behind is the one who should drop out.
In any event, I thought the interview was worthless because Sean spent so much time on the hypotheticals rather than discussing the issues that are driving the recall. It seemed like a waste of time for McClintock.
