Did not watch this debate because I wanted to make sure I slept last night. This email from RNC Research gives the highlights of the attacks on the President. These democRAT candidates do not for the most part attack each other, they attack the President to see who can get their liberal base riled up the most! An Elephant Never Forgets so we are all going to be reminding the DemocRATs of their rhetoric they are using today in the campaign for President!

I watched about 30 minutes and only because it was on FNC and Brit Hume was the moderator. I came to the conclusion that the 9 clowns are planning to share the presidency, should the president lose his re-election, which of course he will not, as they did not debate each other, but just bashed the president

It's important to remember that Dean has only gained traction by appealing to the lowly base of the democrat party; i.e. the Bush haters.

While the left-wing media (aka "the self-described mainstream media") finds itself intrigued and bouyed by Dean's popularity, they know he is the GOP's favored candidate to oppose POTUS.

In other words, they like him, but they also realize he's another Mondale vs Reagan. Dean is destined to be a big time reject by voters across the board.

I say to democrats, "bring him on, please nominate Dean!"

Sure didn't do much for their credibility the way they hyped the debate, and covered it afterward

The ratings game, You are right, Fox probably sacrificed long term gains. This debate deserved to be associated with CNN, right in the gutter!

Thank you for posting the RNC updates. I receive the e-mail, but seeing your personal post and the reading the responses adds a richness and sense of fellowship.

The Dems. have gone too far. I will not listen to them anymore, but simply respond with facts, numbers, thank you letters from Iraq and Goebbels propaganda archives - that match so closely the divisive rhetoric used by this anti-American party today.

The ratings game, You are right, Fox probably sacrificed long term gains.

A worthy sacrifice if so, IMHO. Many new eyes and ears were exposed to the odious dwarves as a result of this being on FOX, whose audience is more conservative, middle-of-the-road or fly-over-country-traditionalist. The lefties who tuned in would tend to already be committed activists. Thus more Republicans than Dims will be energized. A miscalculation by the CBC here, as others have argued.

Aaaahhhhh!!! Now my blood is really boiling! They are such cowardly liars who put their ambition ahead of the security of this nation.

I did not watch the debate. Throwing dishes at the television would have resulted.

Thanks for the ping, anyway.

the only reason a politician makes a verbal assault on another candidate is because the politician doesn't want the public to know that they don't have a solution to the problem.

BUMP!

Lastest from RNC Research:

They Said It!

Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT): "Governor Dean is a major candidate and he has to be held accountable for what he has to say. That's why I challenged him. He's done a lot of flip-flopping. Tonight, we talked about the Middle East... he's flip-flopped on NAFTA, which he used to be for, now he seems to be against." (NBC's "First Read," http://www.msnbc.com/news/924508.asp, 9/10/03)

Exactly right, they put their own ambitions above our great country. Look at Gephardt, he was more reasonable but he learned Dean got lots of attention by being loud and brash. Now, Gephardt screams 'Bush is a miserable failure'. The behavior shown by the Dims in last nights "debate" encourages the terrorists. The terrorists want 'W' out as much as the Dims or is it vice versa. Gephardt is the miserable failure since he lacks integrity.

You could be right about the witch but don't think that Dean is going to roll over with the support from their very liberal base he is getting. I think her hanging back could cost her dearly if she tries to take over. Howard Dean doesn't remind me of someone who is going to take her entering the race kindly!

But, geez, imagine being stuck on a boat with Kerry and Dean.

RNC could make it a lot easier if you could just view source and post! LOL!!! But I decided that I liked seeing these just like I get them in email so I add the HTML before posting! Hadn't been posting them for awhile because my computer had a virus and was using my son's until I got this new one.

Now back on track! I agree with you -- I enjoy what other people have to say although must admit by posting them I read them thoroughly and get irritated even more!

I've heard, third hand (does anyone have a quote or something more direct) that Dean has threatened to clean the clintonistas out of the DNC, starting with McAwful, if he gets the nomination. IOW he has (so I hear) directly threatened the Clinton power base.
