bbbbbbbbbbbbbbWow Aqua....you exceeded my expectations hundreds times over. What a great thread...so informative...(and the graphic, pictures and formatting are PERFECT!)Kudos to you Aqua!
I wish this accurate account of our history would be taught to every child AND liberal around the world.
Hi lovely sistahs...wish I could stay but a long long day...
Dansy...I'm sure tomorrow's post will bring tears...two years ago September 10th who would have dreamed how so many lives would be changed. God bless the victims of September 11th and their families. I'm sure the day before the anniversary and the recollections of last moments spent together must be so bittersweet. God bless them all... as well as ourmilitary and their families who are trying to make sure this never happens again.

oops...forget the bbbbbbbbb in the beginning. I'm trying out a new laptop with the in the center VERY SENSITIVE mouse...yikes!
Must call it a night...but Again Aqua a wonderful thread...can't wait to read the "sequel". Clearly it is your passion...and something we need to keep up front.
To: dutchess
Did you get a new laptop Dutchess? :) They are very sensitive and it can get aggravating when they jump out of a post before you finish it.

Hey Billie. Thanks for your note. Yes, Aqua has good taste in thread production. All of you do a marvelous job everyday.
I finally made it back in, now that the days over and everyone has gone to bed....pant, pant, pant.
I found the book that had a few of George Washington's prayers mentioned. I thought I would type out a few because they are so pretty and humble.
Sunday evening entry:
"O most glorious God, I acknowledge and confess my faults, in the weak and imperfect performance of the duties of this day. I have called on Thee for pardon and forgiveness of sins, but so coldly and carelessly that my prayers are become my sin and stand in need of pardon. I have heard Thy holy word, but with such deadness of spirit that I have been an unprofitable and forgetful hearer
..But, O God, who art rich in mercy and plenteous in redemption, mark not, I beseech Thee, what I have done amiss. Remember that I am but dust, and remit my transgressions, negligences and ignorances, and cover them all with the absolute obedience of Thy dear Son. That those sacrifices (of sin, praise and thanksgiving) which I have offered may be accepted by Thee, in and for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ offered upon the Cross for me."
Monday mornings entry:
"Direct my thoughts, words and work, wash away my sins in the immaculate Blood of the Lamb, and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit
..daily frame me more and more into the likeness of They Son Jesus Christ."
Monday evenings entry:
"Thou gavest Thy Son to die for me; and hast given me assurance of salvation, upon my repentance and sincerely endeavoring to conform my life to His holy precepts and example."
Arent they lovely? If only all our leaders would pray such heartfelt, humble prayers as this great leader did. He inspires to make my prayers more meaningful. God bless you all.

Hi Mama Bear. Thanks so much for the kudos, did you get the week off?
To: dutchess
God bless them all... as well as ourmilitary and their families who are trying to make sure this never happens again.
Amen.
To: SpookBrat
Those are such beautiful and heartfelt prayers that leave no doubts that the Father of our country was truly a Christian.

Hi Aqua...checking back in and glad you were still here. I reread the thread...gosh so much to absorb...Mr. D. was equally impressed. Such a very important subject that so many just take for granted.
Yes we got a new laptop (with a wireless remote so Mr. D. can internet alongside with me...) Think he has felt left out because I have hogged the internet since I found FR in '98 LOL (he hasn't had a prayer to get online during my waking hours)This mouse is so touchy however. Don't think I would dare trying to use this for "doing a thread" Talk about typos! Again..great job sistah!
To: Aquamarine
((((hugs)))) I made a reading date with the kids so I gotta run. Thanks for the edifying thread today. Wish I had more time. Sigh.
Much love to you.
To: SpookBrat
Thanks for this link Spookie. I'll be in touch real soon. ;)
To: dutchess
I think we will all be sheding a few tears tomorrow.

I'm happy that so many appreciated the content of todays thread.
So Mr. D gets to have access to the web again...good for him!
The screen on the laptop is smaller and harder to read and I agree it wouldn't be wise to make replies with the sensitive mouse. It's nice when you want to be in the same room with everyone and the TV and still be able to FReep (lurker mode) with it in your lap.

Love and (((hugs))) to you and the kids.
