Looking up Saturn's skirt: A Hubble Telescope photo shows Saturn's rings at a maximum tilt of 26 degrees toward Earth. This is the best glimpse of the planet's south pole that astronomers will have for the next 30 years.

GOODNIGHT TROOPS AND CANTEEN |
My fat cat is telling me it's time for bed; soooooooo:
Good Night, All! May God bless all who come to the Canteen. May God bless & keep safe all our troops & their families! ________________________________Dear Lord, There's a young man far from home, called to serve his nation in time of war; sent to defend our freedom on some distant foreign shore. We pray You keep him safe, we pray You keep him strong, we pray You send him safely home ... for he's been away so long. There's a young woman far from home, serving her nation with pride. Her step is strong, her step is sure, there is courage in every stride. We pray You keep her safe, we pray You keep her strong, we pray You send her safely home ... for she's been away too long. Bless those who await their safe return. Bless those who mourn the lost. Bless those who serve this country well, no matter what the cost. God, Bless America! |

Last night outside we could still see Mars near the moon too. I can't make it for the next time unless they come out with some kind of vitamin pill for living thousands of years . LOL
Good to see you

...what counts is young at heart anyway
Oh that it were that easy. My heart feels young. (Some would probably describe it as downright juvenile.) It's this stupid body that's the downside. ... I have an aunt who's 40 years older than I who could beat me in a race today.
It is so neat that you write cookbooks.
Thanks! I certainly hope people want to keep reading my words. (And that another publisher want to BUY some of them soon! LOL) Thank God I can still think and type efficiently! ;)
I'm watching this kitchen design show on hgtv at the moment ... and really having some kitchen envy!

LOL!!! You're really ON tonight! (Loved the "carbon" part!) But,...
The Coast Guard searches for a democrat candidate that actually has a rational thing to say in the campaign debates.
I certainly hope Tonk doesn't get mired in that quagmire. He'll never find time to stop and savor the soup if that happens!
Al Gore finally gets a new job which also includes shoe shining for the President!
I bet he doesn't last long! He's underqualified for that job, too, you know. ;)

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
I've never seen that film. I'll watch for it!
Have you ever seen American Dreamer? That's one of my favorite escape films about a writer!
