Qureia, 65, was a key negotiator in failed Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. He is considered close to Arafat and a possible successor http://www.pna.gov.ps/subject_details.asp?subject_id=377

Abu Ala, as Qureia is known, is a staunch Arafat loyalist. I know Shimon Peres tried negotiating with him, but in the end nothing came of it. Nothing ever will come of any peace process so long as Arafat lives.
Neither the US nor Israel should deal with a Qureia government so long as Arafat calls the shots.

It think it is quite apparent that nothing means anything to Arafat except his keeping his place, and even after he dies, another just like him will fill the position.

Most of these men spent a lot of their lives operating in the "underground" either as terrorists or political activists who ran into tough Israeli actions in the late 60's early 70's, and Jordanian crackdowns. Therefore they took cover names to help preserve their anonymity. Most Israeli leaders who were in the Haganah or other organizations before the nation of Israel was formed also took second names. For example, Yitzhak Shamir was born Jerzy Yitzhak Jezernicki in Poland.

PLC speaker Ahmed Qureia needs to be taken out while meeting with his mentor Arafat.
Please Israel take both out.

Thank you. That makes perfect sense, but I never would have thought of it.

Most of these men FReepers spent a lot of their lives operating in the "underground" as either terrorists or Conservative political activists who ran into tough Israeli Democratic Party actions in the late 60's to early 70's, '00's and Jordanian media crackdowns. Therefore they took cover screen names to help preserve their anonymity.

Does anybody know why these Palestinian leader guys always have two different names? (Serious question, I have no idea.) One name for war, one name for peace (to deceive the enemy and the world).

The good news is that the U.S. will not recognize
palestine and not give more money to the terrorist enabling PA.
At least, that should be the news ...

The good news is that the U.S. will not recognize palestine and not give more money to the terrorist enabling PA. 1. It does recognize the Palestinian Authority and it even has offices in DC
2. It does give money to the terror regime PA. It has already given almost a half a billion dollars to them.

Not all Islamics are bad..... I always did like Bullwinkle's Fractured Fairy Tales about the Ruby Yacht of Omar Kyham.

I don't doubt there are some in the PA who now wish to make peace with Israel. The problem is, they are without real power or influence. I see no road by which they can achieve statehood nor do I think the United States should send them any more blood money.
