Nogales is 60 miles to the south and crossing the border there historically has been simple. Don't know if they have highway checkpoints for "illegals" like in CA. Anyone?

We had checkpoints on all state highways leaving the county until Jim Kolbe (R-AZ) tied their removal to increased funding for the BP. Until then, illegals had to run a 25-mile gauntlet to get past them and to the interstate highway (I-10). Now all they have to do is get to a pick-up point within 5 miles of the border.
