We had checkpoints on all state highways leaving the county until Jim Kolbe (R-AZ) tied their removal to increased funding for the BP. Until then, illegals had to run a 25-mile gauntlet to get past them and to the interstate highway (I-10). Now all they have to do is get to a pick-up point within 5 miles of the border.

GWB is now giving his "Address to the Nation", talking about all the terrorists who have been rounded up and how much money we'll all have to donate to the cause. The borders remain open for all. I cannot take this man seriously.

Thanks for the info - sad news. I cannot understand how the b-crats fail to recognize our borders as the worst weak link in our post 9-11 security needs.
