Howdy, lonestar...I woke up about 3 this morning...way early for me...the borrowed cat and I have been up since, watching the night fade as day begins.

I'll be thinking of you and your little Miss Weine...please give her my regards, and let her know she's still got all my votes.

This Mystery of Life and Death...so beautiful and wonderful and terrible and full of Grace...she's running in fields of gold and green....and I sit here grieving for a faraway dog I never met, yet grateful that I got to know her.

Our lives are larger for knowing Weinie, and you.

Blessing on you, lonestar...and your little love departed.

I just want to say this!

This Rainbow Bridge is a neat place. I've already met Tappy, Truman, Ginger and Schnitzel. I had a long talk with Millie Bush about her book

The neatest thing about it is--

There are NO "yellow dogs" up here!

Some of their four-legged friends are here but I'm getting things organized and we'll get them on the right track!

I'm having trouble convincing everybody HOW FAMOUS I was!

Lonestar knows how much I enjoyed your attention.

I'm outta here. There's work to be done!

Weinie is romping around the meadows beyond rainbow bridge meeting up with Schnitzel and reeking havoc on all the squirrels. So glad you allowed us the privilege of getting to know her Lonestar. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Lonestar, I am so sorry to hear about Weinie. I know that Fritzenheimer and he will be fast friends. Tinkerbell and Granny Cat and Inky will take care of the two of them 'cause they will be into lots of mischief!

Thank You for the suggestion, LadyX. The above is my loving tribute to Weinie and for lonestar which I posted on the other thread. Weinie is now amongst all our beloved pets who took a trip over Rainbow Bridge.

P.S. Rumor has it that Weinie has been elected President of Rainbow Heaven, all that campaigning paid off :-)
