I just want to say this!
This Rainbow Bridge is a neat place. I've already met Tappy, Truman, Ginger and Schnitzel. I had a long talk with Millie Bush about her book
The neatest thing about it is--
There are NO "yellow dogs" up here!
Some of their four-legged friends are here but I'm getting things organized and we'll get them on the right track!
I'm having trouble convincing everybody HOW FAMOUS I was!
Lonestar knows how much I enjoyed your attention.
I'm outta here. There's work to be done!
Love to you all,
Weinie

Dear Lonestar, I am so sorry to hear about Weinie. I know that Fritzenheimer and he will be fast friends. Tinkerbell and Granny Cat and Inky will take care of the two of them 'cause they will be into lots of mischief!
Lots of Hugs to you and your family.

I posted this on Weinie's thread, but wanted to re-post it here:
It is tearfully that I write this....
Words cannot say how sorry I am. Weinie was (is) a part of the Finest family. When one of our own passes, it leaves us all with a deep sense of loss. When it is one of our four-legged companions, the feelings of loss and grief are only magnified.
I'll never forget when she accused me of being a squirrel....I was ROFL.
Weinie, say "Hello" to Cookie and Ralph for us. They are some of the finest black and white felines you will ever come across. They won't hiss at you, scratch you or bite you. I promise. They'll play with you and tell you some of the tallest tales about .45MAN man and me - just don't believe everything that you hear. And please, tell them that we miss them terribly.
(((((((lonestar))))))))))) and (((((((Weinie)))))))
Love,
dansy and .45MAN

Lonestar, this is just awful. I'm so sorry about Weinie.

I am sorry for your loss, but Rainbrow Bridge sounds like a very meaningful place.
I'm still voting for the little one!!

Oh my lonestar. I was just trying to review some of the weekend action and came across this. I am heartbroken. As some said, we have all fallen in love with Weinie. How could anyone have conspired to harm her? We know that Weinie is in heaven (it wouldn't be heaven without dogs). May the Lord give you comfort and peace in knowing that you will be with Weinie again. Love is never lost.
The final breath was taken
the last heartbeat echoed faint,
a loving tug on heart strings
was felt through storms of pain.
This tug was but a message
that was heard yet left unspoken;
assurance through the hurtful loss
the bond would not be broken.
