Probably another Clinton admin. official. If he were GOP it would be indicated that even R's are against the Prez, yada yada

Watch out for Zinni, Shelton, and Shinseki.......they are going to be slamming and jamming this administration and Rumsfeld big time.

IMHO, none of them are fit to shine Rummy's shoes.

Lest we forget, Zinni has a little axe to grind with the Bush White House. Early in the administration, Zinni was appointed special envoy to the Middle East, shuttling back and forth between the Israelis and the Palestinians. As you may recall, Zinni's "negotiating skills" did nothing to ease tensions; in fact, the violence steadily escalated as Zinni made his rounds. When the Bush Administration began crafting its ill-advised "roadmap" for Middle East peace, General Zinni was no where in sight.

Zinni is publicly auditioning for the Secretary of State job in a Democratic Administration, just as another retired general (Wesley Clark) is positioning himself to become a Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee.
