The World Trade Center Observatory
In the wake of this tragic event, it is important to remember what we lost. I believe it would be foolish to just remove our PhotoTour of one of our landmarks and pretend it was never there. We want to let people around this country and around the world see what it was or remember their visit here. If you have children, take this PhotoTour with them so that they can see a World Trade Center as it was and what it can be in the future. God bless.

I want the towers back! Bigger, better and even more intimidating to those camel jockey's who feel a muslim culture under sharia law is better than a world of free individuals.

I agree, I want them back also. I spent much of my younger days in those buildings growing up in NYC and visiting relatives who worked there, thankfully that day the one remaining relative I had who works there got out safe from tower 2, only cus he did not listen to the people telling him to stay.
Looking at the tour of the roof on that page, it reminded me of my last time up there with a good friend of mine in 1995, She knew I was leaving NYC and we were kind of saying good-by after a long walk on wall street and lunch. I never expected it to be the last time I would ever be there.
I will always miss those towers and always feel for those who lost family and friends that day.

But instead of trying to recreate the WTC, let's go back to the design of the previous twin towers on that site (the Hudson Terminal). Only build them as tall as humanly possible this time. A more distinctively American design.
But any design is OK by me long as it's big enough and not a post-modern mockery.

I'm glad to hear about your relative. I would have been right there with him, out the door no matter what anyone said. I stayed at the Vista hotel there on business a number of times, the observation platform was a must multiple times during the trips.
I have a friend that never got that opportunity.
We better never forget! Everyone that calls us satan and swears to kill us all should be hunted down.

Can I be there, when you stick their heads on pikes?? (*after your fury*) We could watch their lifeless heads and smile - as a warning to the next 10,000 generations that somethings come at too high a price.

My co-worker was scheduled to be meet some people at Morgan Stanley that day at around 10:00am. Morgan was a huge tenant on the 2nd tower. He still has the email about that meeting.
I was across the street(on Church St and Fulton) when the whole thing happened. Still livid.
