[history]
Arnold Schwarzenegger, skipping the first debate of California's recall election, was egged Wednesday on a university campus but went ahead with a speech in which he said he is running for governor to give back to a state that is responsible for all his success.

No doubt PETA will sell their own principles by not denouncing the assault on this young Finally, something I can respond to on this thread! Funny! I sure wish these people would not fight with each other! Oh well!

(The left have blood on their hands.)
They WERE going to pie him, but that would put them in range of a counterattack. Cowards.

Well, I understand the need to bash the liberal media, but you have to remember my New York FRiend, we have 35 days left, we need policy and we need it yesterday.
I understand you can't vote in it, but if you could, this is the paramount question of candidacy, Bustamante and McClintock have answered it, would you say;
Yes or no, if we do not have a natural disaster or a terrorist attack, will Governor Schwarzenegger raise taxes in the Great State of California?

I agree; there is no reason for not giving a direct answer on that one.

Yes.

So far your response demonstrates YOUR nature--a bit thin in the intra-cranial matter department.

I agree; there is no reason for not giving a direct answer on that one. Well cool, if you had to make an observes position on it, would you say "yes", or would you say "no"?

I'm afraid that I'd rather be thin than to be void which is your present situation.
However, other than calling Ridge names and making wild conspiracy theories, can you think of any constructive critiques of his policy? The new department was totally created under his watch, and he has had to professionalize people who experienced 8 years of unprofessionalism.
I'd say he has done a wonderful job so far.
To: ninenot
Oh! Wrong post. I'll deal with you later.
To: Dog Gone
Please, please, please, get real.
I can tell you that two groups were there that could have done the deed, and of the two groups, it was most likely the Anti-Recall / Davis group (one carried signs that said "Democrat Only Parking" and "Davis..."). The Cruz Bust-your-wallet crowd was too far away.

Sure. When certain people stop equating Arnold with RINOs.
Don't sign things with DD. At first I thought you meant something else. :)
To: republicanwizard
Hopefully the RINO / Unelectable stuff will die down as it serves no useful purpose...
As for the "DD", other than I have been doing for so long, I would stop, but I have the habit...

P.S. That last part takes too long to type...

I'd say "no", he wouldn't. Do you remember his speech at the GOP convention in '92?
To: jmstein7
You can keep ducking the issues but sooner or later you end up with egg in your face.
To: DiamondDon1
Thank you for your opinion and observation. It didn't realize my question was unreal.

Dog Gone:
I was there, I was right of the photo along the railing (and NO I did not do it). I know BASICALLY where the people were and the Davis hacks are my number 1 suspects...
The part about get real, McClintock supporters are conservatives, and I would be shocked to find someone supporting Tom would do this. However, the RATS that were there were looking for trouble...

Thanks for the explanation. I certainly would suspect a Rat supporter, too, even without having been there. But the threads here have been pretty heated, and it's apparent that some Tom supporters have very strong feelings as well.
Your eyewitness account pretty much sets the record straight.

This is so rude - and scary! If people can get close enough with an egg - what else could the guy have had in his hand - a grenade ..?? This really bothers me.
