What are the Differences Between MEChA and Nazism?

California gubernatorial candidate Cruz Bustamante remains steadfast in his refusal to denounce MEChA, which he joined as a university student.

For anybody who is still wondering why this is such a big deal, herewith are key quotes from MEChA's founding document El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán (cited by many MEChA university chapters as being "fundmental" to the organization) juxtaposed with the Nazi Party's founding platform ("The Twenty-Five Points", which were first read in public by Adolf Hitler on Feb. 24, 1920)

Twenty-Five Points: 4. None but members of the nation may be citizens of the State. None but those of German blood, whatever their creed, may be members of the nation. No Jew, therefore, may be a member of the nation

El Plan Espiritual: Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada

Twenty-Five Points: 7. We demand that the State shall make it its first duty to promote the industry and livelihood of citizens of the State. If it is not possible to nourish the entire population of the State, foreign nationals (non-citizens of the State) must be excluded from the Reich

El Plan Espiritual: Aztlán belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans.

Twenty-Five Points: 8. All non-German immigration must be prevented. We demand that all non-Germans, who entered Germany subsequent to August 2nd, 1914, shall be required forthwith to depart from the Reich.

El Plan Espiritual: economic control of our lives and our communities can only come about by driving the exploiter out of our communities, our pueblos, and our lands

Twenty-Five Points: 13. We demand nationalisation of all businesses which have been up to the present formed into companies (Trusts). 14. We demand that the profits from wholesale trade shall be shared out.

El Plan Espiritual: Cultural background and values which ignore materialism and embrace humanism will contribute to the act of cooperative buying and the distribution of resources and production

Twenty-Five Points: 17. We demand land-reform suitable to our national requirements, passing of a law for confiscation without compensation of land for communal purposes;

El Plan Espiritual: Lands rightfully ours will be fought for and defended. Land and realty ownership will be acquired by the community for the people's welfare.

Twenty-Five Points: 23 (c) It must be forbidden to publish papers which do not conduce to the national welfare. We demand legal prosecution of all tendencies in art and literature of a kind likely to disintegrate our life as a nation

El Plan Espiritual: We must insure that our writers, poets, musicians, and artists produce literature and art that is appealing to our people and relates to our revolutionary culture.

Twenty-Five Points: 24. We demand liberty for all religious denominations in the State, so far as they are not a danger to it and do not militate against the moral feelings of the German race.

El Plan Espiritual: Nationalism as the key to organization transcends all religious, political, class, and economic factions or boundaries. Nationalism is the common denominator that all members of La Raza can agree upon.

Twenty-Five Points: The leaders of the Party swear to go straight forward - if necessary to sacrifice their lives - in securing fulfillment of the foregoing Points.

El Plan Espiritual: Self-Defense against the occupying forces of the oppressors at every school, every available man, woman, and child.

Back to the question in the title: What are the differences between MEChA and Nazism?

Answer: The Nazis were German, the Mechistas hail from Mexico. The Nazis were fixated on Jews, the Mechistas don't seem to like any white people. The Nazis came to power and achieved (for a time) many of their stated goals. The Mechistas have helped establish "Chicano Studies" departments, but (hopefully) will never achieve many of their other goals. The leading Republican candidate for California governor is the son of a former Nazi and has unequivocally denounced Nazism. The leading Democratic candidate for California governor was an active member of MEChA and continues to defend the organization.

UPDATE: Some might apologize for MEChA by saying that its adherents see themselves as members of an oppressed, impoverished and humiliated people. Okay, but the same held true for the Nazis.

Hope more people spread the word on this racist!

I'm not from California so I cannot vote against this slime but as a Black woman, the fact that he uttered the N-word to a group of Black folks only reinforces my view that Democrats are just as racist as they accuse the Republicans of being.

While I realize that this quote may not need translating for some folks, the phrase:

Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada

translates to:

For The Race all (or everything). (For those) Outside of The Race nothing.

Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada.

Guess we're supposed to give them a pass because they're poor and oppressed? (/sarcasm)

I believe that they are more racist. The repuds eagerly embrace any non-white as proof that they aren't racist whereas the demonrats make them pass an ideological litmus test. All of the oreo and uncle tom rhetoric comes from the rats as any repud who talked this trash would be executed by the liberal PC press.

What are the Differences Between MEChA and Nazism?

Years from now, aging British thespians will not be able to credibly portray MEChA officers in historical film roles. :)

The difference is that the Hispanics in business and the military will happily crush these pansy thugs back to their sociology classes at the Junior Colleges. I Nazis were much tougher than these guys, these Mecha types are really little Hispanic brats who everyone hates. I use to get their propaganda material in college, they wanted to seperate me from the regular students; they were usually small and socially retarded, and over weight, and unable to match their clothing... and there was always a few other quirks... As a Hispanic, I've known the true hard corers, these ain't them folks, these are just the loud racist.

I'd tend to agree with your comments but the real question is: who are the hard cores and how many currently reside in public office, media and entertainment? Seems like the more light shed on them, the better.

The harde corers are inventoried in jail, the nerds, like Bustamante a.k.a Seargant Garcia a.k.a Pancho Sanza a.k.a fat turd... is just trying to rally their votes....at the same time, he throughs flour on his ample buttox for the prison unions,(large Hispanic employees block) to stock the inventory with their own race.. doomed way of doing politics

I think you can put the MECHA guys in the same boat as white supremacist skinheads and Nation of Islam meatheads- losers in life who feel that the world owes them something. We're seeing the rise of a hispanic elite that wants a seat at the table of power, just like other groups of immigrants in the past. If MECHA becomes too much of an embarrasment for them, they'll quickly find themselves on the receiving end of a quick boot to the ass.

"What are the Differences Between MEChA and Nazism?"

The Nazis spoke in street German, and MEChA members speak in a wretched version of Spanish. Both talk about a "homeland" and "purity", with overtones of some superiority in relation to the other ethnic populations in the country they claim as the "homeland".

The social program proposed is loosely based on a rough approximation of "equality" for most of the population and a small elite that makes the decisions. Industries are licensed and regulated to make them entirely subservient to the governing power, and the designated few shares in the wealth generated. Since none of this will work without a serious amount of coercion, the police powers of the state continue to grow, strictly limiting personal freedoms and imposing many specific requirements to retain "citizenship".

German scientists smart enough to invent and devise the machinery to execute their plan. The mechistas are not all that innovative. All their PhDs are in sociology.

Litening to the host for Limbaugh I just had an idea. Since illegal aliens are getting licenses, their profiles are public information. Why not create an online data base and force the government hand by listing residents who are in America illegaly??? Something like, illegalaliens.com or panderingpoliticiansdestroy.net
