Nothing would please America's enemies more than seeing George W. Bush lose his bid for re-election in 2004.
But the president's re-election is far from assured. He will be opposed by powerful special interests - the unions, who will provide muscle, limousine liberals, who will provide tens of millions of dollars, and the liberal media, who will keep up a ceaseless propaganda drumbeat against him.
So I've decided to do my part to help the president by creating Wictory Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, I'm going to ask my readers to volunteer and/or donate (even if it's just $25) to the Bush campaign if they haven't done so already. The alternative is to wake up on November 3, 2004 and hear that we have a new president who will raise taxes, appease terrorists, torment businesses and pack the courts with ultra-liberal extremists.
If you're a blogger, you can join Wictory Wednesdays simply by putting up a post every Wednesday asking your readers to volunteer and/or donate to the Bush campaign. And do link to this post so that other bloggers will hear about Wictory Wednesdays. E-mail me at polipundit@fastmail.fm so that I can add you to the Wictory Wednesday blog roll:

He is opposed by the Far Left as well. That is a bit of a loose cannon.

I'm so glad we're now using scare tactics.

I'm actually inclined to go along with your "Wictory Wednesdays", but this appeal just sucks.

When I read the headline, I thought it was an article about some weird Wiccan holiday today...maybe you should start with a new name. You have a good IDEA, though it needs polishing. We already know Big Labor, trial lawyers, the media and most of Hollywood is against him. Most of us have already donated. We need to ensure that people get out and VOTE.

Cough...Rino...Cough...Rino...Who? I hope it's not me you're referring to, I left the Reopublicans after the Dole fiasco because I saw no conservativism left in them ( you do remember Dole, don't you? the Guy that got us the Brady Bill?). It's a bit hard to be RINO if you're not Republican.
