The balloon shot up faster than the speeding bullet that was heading for the first "B" in the Beer Can's logo.

"WHEW!! That was close!!"

Tex was thinking that Kathy gave her her weak knees because she almost fell overboard when they buckled!

After breathing hard for about 5 minutes, Tex and the Canteen crew look up at the stars. The night is very dark. The clouds have thinned below, and they can see a few lights here and there, but the sky and the Milky Way are totally awesome.
