The guy's views and positions are easy tagets for criticism...why the race card?
Dem tactics are unseemly, Joe.

He's not playing the "race card." He's examining how Marxist/revolutionary/anti-American Bustamante has shown himself to be. It's not that Bustamante is of Mexican heritage. It's that Bustamante was part of an anti-American organization a few years back, and may still hold anti-American sentiments.

"The guy's views and positions are easy tagets for criticism...why the race card?"Because he really IS racist. If truth is a tactic now, it's a tactic we could ALL do with more of.

It's not a race card, it's a fact card and it's an organization he still supports. Go to the link below if you want to see how MECHa is presented as of last night at the University of California - Santa Barbara website - except I substituted White and Caucasian for mentions of Chicano. Not a comfortable read at all.

Because he is a racist. Him and his ilk have been quoted as saying such things as "Prop 187 was the white man's last gasp".

why the race cardSo it's okay to be a Communist and support the overthrow of the US Constitution and government as long as you're from Mexico like Bustamante is? How can you possibly support this man? If you really want to live in Mexico --- Move there. You might love living there.
