1922? You sound as nutty as the arabs or the Bosnian Christians bitching about something that happened to them hundreds of years ago. Grow up.

Just because something happened 100 years ago doesn't mean it is not relevent today. YOU should grow up. Or, at the very least, educate yourself. And stop boring the rest of us with your ignorance.

It happened in 1922 - Every August 30th the Turks celebrate the event as my link shows. It is now.

Those that don't remember history are doomed to repeat it. I don't know about you, but I don't look at this as "bitching about something that happened to them hundreds of years ago".

I see it as the "unchanging face of Islam", and if they could, they would do it again tomorrow.

So, you propose a time limit on atrocities to your kin?

Tell me, do you remember the people jumping out of the towers as they burned, after throwing their babies out the window?

Well, what do you figure is a reasonable time to forget that and grow up...10 years, 50 years, 88 years?....so, in 91 years you wish your offspring to forgive the perps, especially though they and their governments have not denounced the previous actions, and wish to grow up and move on??

Just asking

September 11, 2001 happened less than two years ago and some people seem to have forgotten. NEVER FORGET!!!

Even if the time-period gets long on these events, the Turkish atrocity does have
some extra significance.
IIRC, Hitler took note that the Turks had gotten away with liquidating most
of the Armenian Christians in their territory when considering what he'd do
with Germany's Jews.

These sort of events deserve study/review, just so we can spot the same d-mn thing
happening again and maybe nip it in the bud.
(at least once in a while...)

The Armenians will quit complaining about what happened in 1922 about the time that the Jews decide to forget that little unpleasantness in 1930-45.

Right on, Brother!! Finally a voice of reason. What's just as bad is these people that aren't even from New York City getting all upset about that 9/11 thing. I don't know about you, but why should I care about a bunch of people that died in New York a few years ago. I mean, sheesh, can't these people just get over it? I didn't know any of them and most of 'em were probably Yankees fans anyway.

Check out some of the threads about Islam. There's a lot of nuts out there that aren't even from New York that are still holding a grudge against Muslims for something that happened years ago. They need to let it go and grow up too.

The German ally Islamic Turks, including old women and children, prayed for guns and knives with which to murder political famine stricken and incapacitated Christian men, women, and children. In this 1922 jihad, these devout muslims could slay healthy defenders or the sick and injured infedels assuring access to muslim death cult's paradise, then as now demanded by Islam.

Hands bloodied during the slaughtered Christians regardless of age were rejoyced as a symbol of devotion to Moham's teachings.

Mein Koran and Haddith (aka their battle plan) still demands this today as tomorrow.

Westerners think time is linear, as in long ago. Islamic time is not linear. You have made that potentially fatal mistake.

Devout muslms do not think like we do, nor with Judeo-Christian values. Believing that is a fatal mistake. Mein Koran and Haddith teaches lying, enslaving and murder of infedels, wherever you find them.

"This" did not happen hundreds of years ago; it continues.

One must survive to "grow up" as you say, lucky boy.
