Pakistani moderates are shocked by Mr. Musharraf's appeasement of religious extremists, who are now in charge of the province under the guidance of Gen. Gul and his former ISI colleagues.

Quetta, the provincial capital, is now a vast privileged sanctuary for former Taliban officials and their fighters. They are known locally as new mohajirs (immigrants). They possess Pakistani ID and are free to conduct business and buy properties all over Baluchistan. MMA, with generous subsidies organized by ISI, is now free to hold constant rallies and processions against "the U.S. desecrator of Islam."

This reporter's informants in Islamabad and Quetta say that U.S. agents are unable to tell the difference between Baluchis, Pathans and Taliban, and that most people are convinced Osama bin Laden and Mullah Mohammed Omar, the former Taliban chief, are hiding safely somewhere in Baluchistan under the protection of ISI and its extremist allies in the provincial government.

Hamid Gul's agenda — which he barely conceals — is to create a deadly nexus between Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq. Those who know Gen. Gul say his longer-range objective is to widen the nexus to include Iran, Sudan and Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani nuclear establishment is, to a large degree, of the fundamentalist persuasion. From these geopolitical building blocks, it is not too much of a stretch to conclude, as the U.S. intelligence community now seems to believe, that Pakistani nuclear know-how has found its way, not only to North Korea (in exchange for missile technology), but also to Iran.

The CIA has also identified Iran, Saudi Arabia and Syria as the leading supporters of the Sunni insurgency against the U.S. military in Iraq. The Saudi government is clearly not involved, the CIA concluded, but Osama bin Laden's Saudi followers and members of the Wahhabi clergy, harassed for the first time by the government, have evidently organized desert crossings for volunteer guerrilla fighters. Anti-government feelings are running high in Saudi Arabia these days.

America is at war with Christians, too. Its systematic eradication of God from all areas of public life and the persecution of those who refuse to kow-tow, such as Judge Moore, marks it as a godless, secular abomination.

Like the Israelites of the Old Testament who rebeled against their covenant with God, America will be given over to barbarian assailants who will ravage it and lay waste to it. The modern day counterparts of the Egyptians, Amalekites and Babylonians are Islamic fundamentalists.

At the very time when we need God's protection more than ever, we persist in butchering the unborn and desecrating his commandments.

Fools. Blind fools.

Pakistan to send military troops to Saudi Arabia
(Updated at 1810PST)
By Zia Iqbal Shahid
Brussels: Civil and military authorities in Pakistan have decided to provide additional military and security personnel to Saudi Arabia to fill in the void created by the withdrawal of the US and other Western troops from the Kingdom, reliable defence sources told The News.

Saudi Arabia has already given a pledge to Pakistani authorities that it would welcome additional Pakistani military and security advisers and troops primarily to replace the Western military personnel who have left the kingdom over the last year.

Additional Pakistani military personnel in Saudi Arabia would play an effective role in several projects designed to bolster the defence and security of the kingdom. "Pakistani military and security personnel sent to Saudi Arabia would play two-pronged security related roles: firstly, to replace some of the westerners who have left or leaving the kingdom and secondly, to help in the expansion of the security related projects already being executed by Pakistani personnel in Saudi Arabia", the defence source underlined.

From Today's Jang.com The News of Pakistan.....

Any speculation on what these security related projects could be?

Will the desert missile base be activated now? Will Paki troops be running Prince Sultan? How many troops and with what specialties will be seconded to the Saudis? Whose command will they fall under?

I wonder how many of these will be from the ISI and/or are Taliban/AQ.

Expect to see ISI operate as an arm of the Saudi government. Expect to see Musharraf replaced soon with someone more amenable to the Saudis.

Jihadi sentiment is widespread in the Pakistani military.

This brings a formal SaudiPak Alliance one step closer.

Expect to see further blurring of the line between ISI, Taliban, and AQ. As Pakistan openly aligns itself with the Saudis, our strategic situation will become more complicated in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I think this move makes our confrontation with Riyadh suddenly more likely. And this makes me believe the Saudis know it.

Actually, this clown has it only partially right.

If the good general would read his Bible, he would know that God will destroy virtually the whole freaking planet immediately before His Son returns to reign as King of Kings.

I think you're dead right. And I think this marks the countdown to an open break between the US and Riyadh and direct confrontation. There is no way Israel will sit still for such a missile base and there is no way we will either.

And as ISI and Saudi connections with AQ become harder to hide, the pressure to dismantle the Saud syndicate will increase.

Out of respect for our past alliance we have been giving the Sauds chance after chance to get on the right side of things, and we have been sending them warning after warning, and invitation after invitation. They keep giving the wrong answers.

Mullah Omar never got as many chances as they got. But they are pushing this thing right to the brink. I think we are going to go right to the brink with them, and if GW holds on to his office, right on over the brink.

The Sauds need a regime change in Washington, and soon.

Saudia Arabia funded 'The Muslim Bomb' (Pakistan) through the BCCI Bank, remember that? The BCCI was controled by a Pakistanian.

The Saudis have had Chinese ballistic missiles for some time now.
