Holder is a corrupt, black attorney who did Bill Clinton's bidding and carried his water, as US Attorney for the District of Columbia. No company, especially one that's already under an ethical cloud, should be taking on the likes of Eric Holder. IMHO.

You took the mords right out of my wouth! Everybody just seems to shrug and move on. These people are accessories after and perhaps during the fact to the clinton crime spree. The fact that they are even out running loose let alone being named to high profile jobs is mind boggling to me.

Eric can be depended on to coverup even the most minor of crimes. He had a lot of practice doing that working for the Clintonistas.

And his tenure in the AG office under Reno will show him exactly how to avoid prosecution.

Is "Patton Boggs " the lobby firm that is owned by Tommy Boggs, the late Hale Bogg's son and brother to Cokey Roberts?

Holder was involved up to his eyeballs in the Clintons flagrant Marc Rich pardon.

The Washington Times’ Jerry Seper reported 3/14/2002 that Clinton aides tried to shortcut DOJ reviews of the Rich pardon (b/c they knew they were getting away with an enormous crime in pardoning Rich who renounced his American citizenship to escape prosecution, then fled the country).

Seper reported: Former White House Counsel Jack Quinn and former Deputy Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. sought to cut the Justice Department out of a decision by President Clinton to pardon fugitive financier Marc Rich, according to a congressional report. The 467-page report released 3/14/02 by the House Government Reform Committee, said Mr. Quinn and Mr. Holder "worked together" to ensure that department officials — particularly federal prosecutors in New York who handled the Rich case — "did not have the opportunity to express an opinion on the Rich pardon before it was granted."

This report is significant since during the waning days of the Clinton dynasty, Holder, second in command to USAG Reno, appeared before a Congressional committee about his role in Clinton's pardon of the fugitive tax evader Rich. Holder took an oath, then falsely claimed he had no involvement at all.

This is on videotape and ought to be replayed as often as possible. Holder should have been charged with perjury and for contempt of Congress.

Holder is a self perjurying lunatic lib criminal, who worked for Jake Reno.

It is obvious that the left wing criminal elites still control MCI.

Nice description of Holder. However, I doubt anyone at justice seriously "worked" for Reno. Her subordinates had to tell her what her job entailed. Some of the Deputy AG's said she ran meetings taking notes on a legal pad. A total know-nothing was the top justice officer in the land.

More egregiously, Reno co-opted justice and her office to shield Clinton from criminal liability for using an intern for sex in the Oval Office, for perjury, subornation of perjury, witness tampering, abuse of power, and organizing a good portion of the executive branch to cover up his misdeeds.

In the late '80s, the savings-and-loan debacle prompted hundreds of lawsuits against the accountants for the failed institutions. In the early 1990s, during Bush #41 admin, the big accounting firms paid out $1 billion to the government in penalties and fines.

In the wake of the penalties, the big firms formed a coalition and began channeling more money than ever to Washington. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, the Big Five accounting firms and the accounting organization, AICPA, donated nearly $39 million through individuals, political action committees and soft-money contributions through 2001.....the Clinton years.

The group fought for the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act, a 1995 measure (during the Clinton admin) that made it more difficult for accountants to get sued in cases of their clients' malfeasance.

Sen Dodd's generosity toward his major campaign financiers, is cited in the watchdog group's Public Campaign's report and I quote:

Dodd was an original cosponsor of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, and he helped to organize the Senate's override of President Clinton's veto. It ultimately became law in 1995.

While the industry said the law would cut down on frivolous securities lawsuits, many say the new law would make it easier to commit securities fraud on unsuspecting investors and more difficult for the victims of fraud to recover their losses. (This was pre-Enron, Worldcom, Global X accounting thievery.)

The National Securities Market Improvement Act, another bill that Dodd fought earnestly for, was supposed to provide oversight of the mutual fund and securities industry. While it contained some good consumer provisions, it ultimately weakened oversight that would have protected investors. And, in October of last year, Dodd lined up as a cosponsor of the Securities Litigation Uniform Standards Act, an extension of the earlier securities litigation legislation.

The bill was strongly supported by The Uniform Standards Coalition, an ad-hoc group of securities, accounting and high-tech computer firms. Even trial lawyers who opposed such securities litigation legislation, and heavy givers in their own right, especially to Democrats, could not compete with the industry's donations or lobbying efforts.

Rather than beef up consumer protections and enforcement for investors – at a time when more people are investing in stocks and mutual funds for their retirements – Congress is busy protecting Wall Street, with help from Senator Dodd.

Of the $910,304 in campaign contributions that Senator Dodd received between January 1993 and December 1997, Wall Street and other investment firms came in as the heavy hitters, with firms like Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers and others donating $523,551 in PAC and individual contributions.

The accounting industry – perhaps the biggest winners in the 1995 securities litigation reform law – donated $345,903 in PAC and individual contributions.

This includes such giants as Price Waterhouse, Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand, among others. Deloitte & Touche's contributions to Senator Dodd increased nearly five-fold from 1995 to1996 soon after Congress passed the reform law the industry championed. The computer industry – a fairly new player in the campaign contribution field – ponied up $40,850 in contributions."

Dodd was the rat who pushed the bill through to remove CEO's, CFO's, boards and phoney accounting firms from any liability if they lied and cooked the books.

The bill was so bad that even Clinton was against it.

Probably the accountants didn't get Clinton many good lewinsky-type dates; he had to do something to make 'em pay. LOL.
