Once again, MTV throws wild party
MSNBC ^

I am so disgusted with our society, where everything's accepted and nothing is sacred. The article about Britney Spears and Madonna at the MTV music awards is just one of the examples that we have lost all morals and now are on a down hill slope to rock bottom. I saw this article and it sent me over the edge. Have all women lost complete respect for themselves??? This is surely the devils playground.

Couldn't agree with you more... The behavior of women like this is defended by "feminists," yet stay-at-home moms are demonized by these same "feminists" as giving into the "patriarchy." It makes me ill. I'd like to clock Madonna in the head.

Have all women lost complete respect for themselves???No. ;-)

I share your disgust but don't fear. Most of us know the real deal.

MTV Awards Show = Decadence personified
"Just plain trashy" as my Mother would say. I watched the opening number, and frankly, it wasn't nearly as offensive or suggestive as in past years....except for the lip-locking lesbian kisses. It was almost as if the music industry has maxed out on gross and lewd, most likely because it isn't selling anymore. And that's a good thing.

Very disturbing incident, which I became aware of only by means of the news on TV and also in the morning paper. The HOMO agenda was given a big boost.
Am I alone to note that their appears a trend to advertise lesbian activitiess in particular, as "it turns guys on." It is becoming quite common to see such on both TV and in the movies, with the liberal message attached, "Give it a try, it ain't no big deal." Which is part of the "feel good" philosphy that has gripped the nation.

MTV throwing a wild, vulgar, debauched party?
I can't believe it!
Next you'll tell me that there is a religious group called the Jehovah's Witnesses that will actually come to my house!
Sorry for the sarcasm, but no one should be surprised by this. The MTV VMA's have been this way for years.
I no longer watch MTV, by the way.

I've never watched this filth, but I saw the disgusting kiss on Fox News this morning. Two has-beens trying to be cute. The act reeked of desperation for attention.
These celebrities are so far removed from reality and it's all about themselves.
They'll be sorry one of these days...

This disgusting demonstration on TV is just a sign of the times. Afterall we just had a major religious demonination elect a bishop who left his wife and kids to have a homosexual relationship and another major religious group deliberately cover-up child sex abuse by its clergy and the US Supreme Court now says sodomy is OK--what do you expect?

Yes, that last tour of Christina Ag. I don't know how you spell her name, didn't do too well or as well as producers thought it was supposed to do.

Lord, that cracked me up. The link,
and the comment.
When Madonna married Sean Penn, one of the local DJs asked his sidekick, "I mean, I'm not invited, but what kind of wedding gift do you give a couple like that?"
Sidekick: "I'd bet he'd appreciate some shots... you know, vaccinations..."
Bada Bing.
I remember being a school teacher and seeing who people chose as role models, and why. Girls that chose entertainers like this usually got what they thought they wanted -- attention from males -- and usually regretted it sooner or later.
Heres a secret for any young gals reading this, that could get me tossed out of the Single Guys Trade Union, but here goes:
Look, if you are female, guys are gonna be attracted to you anyway. It's how nature works, the drumbeat of gay propaganda notwithstanding. But if you go all flash to make them flock to you, you are going to end up with someone whose attention span keeps you together just long enough to really hurt you when he's drawn to the next flash.

Yuck. As my youngest would say...'that's bisgusting.' Madonna will get hers...at home, where it really hurts. Her kids are getting older and one or both may just turn away (sooner or later) from mom's immature antics. And that, FRiends, will hurt much more than poor album sales, bombing movies, or the critics.
I found the kiss (which I saw this morning on the news, because I would rather watch the duct taping seminar on HGTV than anything on MTV, but I digress) to be as embarassing as the Jacko/Lisa Marie 'kiss'...a forced, calculated grab at attention by failing performers (who are looking over their shoulders at this year's models that are coming up and taking their face time)...pretty surreal and pathetic.

Will somebody tell me, please: Can Britney close her mouth? Every photo I see of her shows her tonsils. I really don't think that kiss between her and Madonna was meant to be open-mouth, but Britney's jaw hinge is hung up.
