MSNBC | 8/28/03

Posted on 08/28/2003 12:13:59 PM PDT by Merovingian

MSNBC had an item on NEW rumblings about HRC running in 2004.. It was in conjunction with more on Wes Clark also getting serious about a run..Mentioned something about a 'high level mtg' that the OTHER Dem candidates were informed of.... Ickes has formed a 'soft money group' which could benefit HRC, and, again, some high level mtg about the possibility of her running. ..Nachman and Bill Press will be discussing this SOON on msnbc...tune in NOW.

Moreover, she just can't risk Dean getting the nomination and "capturing" the party.

"Whacking" Dean politically (via dirty tricks and smears) gets harder by the day and the big money Dem big wigs are not happy about that at all.

I doubt the Dem grassroots would buy into phoney polls showing a Kerry or Liberman surge overtaking Dean, new phoney polls showing a Hillary surge might do the trick.

No, what you have is perhaps an illusion. To say that "she will not make a move unless they think they have a viable shot at making it all the way . . ." well, imagine if the Indians facing Custer said that! The point is, politically and militarily, people/nations can make BIG miscalculations. Hillary has no idea of the unity on the right that she will induce by her candidacy. She will do what Bush could not---unite the right and moderates, Republicans and Libertarians.

Clark makes Dean look smart

This man is also dangerous, a sub-ordinate General refused an order from him saying "I will not let you make me resposible for WW3"

She alienates many women as much as she does conservatives.

Most women I overhear or encounter in groups either praise Hillary or say nothing out of fear. There are very few women whom I hear openly denounce or even criticize her. Men do not understand the power the Empress has over her "sisters".

Think about all the bad stuff we know about the Toons. Now think about all the bad stuf we don't know. The stuff that people, for some reason, have chosen to keep quiet. Wanna bet that if Hillie runs people who've kept their powder dry for whatever reason start to talk? I bet they will. And it'll be all downhill from there...

This is good reasoning. Market principles teach us that without competition, there is lack of innovation and effort. The GOP needs the Dems to be LEFT, and lots of it!

I think that she needs to have the proper label pinned on before she runs - a name that fits her as well as her clothes and hair. I know lots of you are sick of me pushing this, but it FITS. I suggest we call her:

The Ankle.

If you don't know what I'm saying by this nickname, just ask. Then you'll agree.

Yeah - I've thought of that. Dean has been out there beating the "Bush" so to speak while Hillary has remained behind the scenes; so typical of her.

Dean is ruthless enough to be Attorney General - and he might be willing to pull a "Reno" and protect Hillary at all costs. As for Sec.of State - I think she'll find a woman for that spot - some touchy/feely person who will appease all our enemies; Boxer or Feinstein comes to mind. Boxer is related to x42 by marriage.

You just reminded me of that horrible Ozzie commercial where he wakes up next to Florence Henderson or someone? Imagine waking up next to Hillary! ugh! Gag!

ooooooommmmmmmm, oooooooommmmmm, you're right, it isn't working.

I think Dean believes in liberalism more than Hillary. She doesn't BELIEVE in anything except Hillaryism.

a carnival...a freak show!

That was the comment I made for Bill's administration...

I'm sure it would work for Hill's too. Not that we would let it get that far.

If another Dem did happen to unseat GWB, that would push her bid possibly to 2012--and all the bookcover airbrushing in the world won't help her then. She'll have to run in 2004.

He is a very dangerous man. There is no doubt in my mind that as VP he would have Hillary killed, and as President would be a potential American Adolf Hitler.
