MSNBC had an item on NEW rumblings about HRC running in 2004.. It was in conjunction with more on Wes Clark also getting serious about a run..Mentioned something about a 'high level mtg' that the OTHER Dem candidates were informed of.... Ickes has formed a 'soft money group' which could benefit HRC, and, again, some high level mtg about the possibility of her running. ..Nachman and Bill Press will be discussing this SOON on msnbc...tune in NOW.

I hope she runs so we can get this battle over with.
She's going to run.
The fact that nitwits like Rush are only now starting to figure it out this makes me know I made the right move when I bailed on him in `98. I hope the Bush team hasn't been as naive as Rush and has a solid game plan ready for her.

She will be the death knell. I agree. What better person to take the Democrat Party into the abyss forever more.

The only way you could not be correct on your assessment is if this was actually just a leak from the Dean campaign. (And, I wouldn't put it past him. I believe he is quite conniving and pernicious.)

I think a commercial of Hillary rolling her eyes during Bush's post 9/11 speech would be particularly devastating, especially in NYC!

then where will she go?????????????One thing for sure, she won't go away.
Again, as the Co-President for 8 years, she got much of what she wanted. As Vice President, she will do the same and not have to take the heat.

She has to run if Clark runs. This is exactly right. The Clintons created Clark. He is their Frankenstein. She knows what he is, how sinister he is, and that he could possibly beat Bush. This would destroy her plans entirely. But if she runs, she would win the top spot with him as VP.
What America doesn't know is that this man could potentially be the first American Adolf Hitler. His career highlights, including planning and leading the Waco assault, and his NATO command show actions which hint at his psychological instability and capabilities of detached brutality. His career shows an unprecedented advancement by Bill Clinton which more than hints at payback for nasty secrets kept. I believe given great power this man would do great evil.

Odds of her resigning her Senate seat to run? Zilch and None.
I disagree. She's going to run. Giving up the Senate seat in non-issue IMO.

Freepers alone could keep her from winning, so long as we write our letters to the editors and Christmas gift disbelievers with Barbara Olson's most wonderful books. (sob)

your view is correct. Hillary does not want a Dem to win, unless it's her, or if she were VP. It's amazing, but the left and media, well leftmedia are so enamoured with her, that she seems to get more press than the main candidates? expect this fawning to continue, a will she or won't she for a month or so...

Hillary and Bill effectively control the party. If another Dem were elected (except maybe Dean, but he probably can't get elected) they'd owe the Clinton's BIGTIME. So Hillary would still have tremendous power. I'd rather the people be forced to vote for or against the Clinton's rather than letting them get Hillary govt by proxy.

He's not McGovern. He can, and will, move sharply toward the political center for the general election if he gets the nomination. KEEP THOSE CLIPPINGS regarding his current far-left bloviations, because come '04 the media will "forget" them to serve their party. It doesn't matter if the "mainstream" media ignores in the future what Dean says today. New Media will insure that the public is never allowed to forget.
