London Power Blackout Halts Subway Services, Spokesman Says

Aug. 28 (Bloomberg) -- A power blackout in central and southwest London has halted subway services, a London Underground spokesman said.

The majority of London Underground networks are affected, said the spokesman, who declined to be identified. Trains are stuck in tunnels, the spokesman said. The power failure was caused by a National Grid circuit failure, the spokesman said.
