BAGHDAD, Iraq, Aug 28, 2003 (AP WorldStream via COMTEX) -- A Baghdad mother and father, to show their thanks to U.S. President George W. Bush for the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, have named their son after the American leader. Had the couple had twin boys, they say, the would have named them George Bush and Tony Blair.
The new George Bush - probably the only one in Baghdad - was born six weeks ago to Nadia Jergis Mohammed, 34, and her husband Abdul Kader Faris, 41.
"I tell you all Iraqis hated Saddam's regime. It was only George Bush who liberated us, without him it wouldn't have happened. If he hadn't done it the sons of Saddam would have ruled us for years. He saved us from Saddam and that's why we named our son after him," Mohammed told Associated Press Television News.
George Bush screamed in his crib.
Baby Bush, born July 11, carries the full name George Bush Abdul Kader Faris Abed El-Hussein. He weighed 3.5 kilograms (7 pounds 11 1/2 ounces) at birth.
Two older brothers are named - more traditionally - Omar and Ali.

In spite of the AP's stupid headline, this just goes to show that President Bush is considered a hero by the Iraqi people.

Ah yes, but the Iraqis hate us, or at least that's what our warped media keeps telling us.

Stupid headline, but great story.

This type of thing gives the DNC fits, I'm sure.
This needs to be repeated.

I'm surprised that AP reported this at all.
A Democrat/"Liberal"/leftist nightmare.

Despite the probable intent, the title makes me giggle.
There's even a reference to "Baby Bush" in there, and it still makes me giggle.
I want to see a pic of Baby Bush. LOL. I really do.
