August 27, 2003 -- JERUSALEM - Israeli helicopter gunships last night fired missiles at a car carrying the commander of rocket development for Hamas, but missed and killed a 65-year-old Palestinian water-pipe vendor riding on a donkey. I guess this is why France doesn't want to have Hamas listed as a terrorist group, they buy French cars.

The missile hit the car and the SOB was intact? Do the Israelis use French missiles?

Apparently the missile felt repelled by the French aspect of the car, and flung itself to its death to avoid contact.
Can you blame it?

I was watching CNN last nite while I ran on the treadmill, and the reporters went on and on about the bystander who died. While I (and the Israelis, I'm sure) regret the death of this bystander, it really set my teeth on edge to listen to the CNN reporter go on about this collateral death, while not acknowledging that the Palesterrorists target exactly this type of individual.

"killed a 65-year-old Palestinian water-pipe vendor sounds like he could have been a traveling salesman meeting with these guys to provide materials for missles. Pipes, tubes....
