For me this is a win-win situation.

First of all Davis is gone. A good thing.

If Bustamante wins, he will bollock things up so much worse, the final explosion will be historic, and the state reversal will be swift extreme and long-lasting. It will just came later, rather than sooner.

If McClintock wins, there is a better than even chance of digging ourselves out of the hole, seeing the veto pen used wisely and seeing the truly financially clueless members of the legislature heLd to account.

Win-win.

My position has not changed. You cannot continue to ignore the reality and dynamics of the CA recall-election.

McClintock cannot carry the majority vote. It simply is absurd to believe he could based on the voting demographics.

McClintock, can however, push his conservative agenda (which I totally support) into the final weeks of the recount-election so that the heat is put on Arnold to move right. If TM stays in until the final vote, then he is nothing more than a spoiler that has put his self-interests before the good of the party and CA, and most likely will have given Cruz the election.

So it's all or nothing? You'll never get everything you want, it takes small steps to get there. How do you think the Gay Agenda became so powerful. Little by little. Arnold is the first step to taking back this State. There's not way this electorate is going to go from Davis to McClintock. It's just not going to happen. And you know it. I've heard the phrase "clean conscience." That really frosts me because it's so, for lack of a better word, immature. Politics is reality. Please rethink your vote.

Same here Jim. I think he's the best man. But that means he'll have to expend effort to get his numbers up. His crew tearing others down won't achieve that for him.

Arnold is not a conservative, so why should a conservative vote for him? Just because he has an R after his name?

It's not my position to tell anyone who they should vote for or why. Obviously, you can vote for whoever you want. But to answer your question...

A conservative should vote for him to keep Bustamante from winning the election. But, again, it's your choice.

Tom has a clear, accurate, useful plan for california. He has true conservative priniciples. If all true conservatives got behind Tom, he'd have a chance. Instead, everyone's willing to elect a RINO. Arnold will be bad for california, and I dont want someone who is touted as a conservative or a republican (and who clearly isn't) ruining the reputation of conservatism. This is the time to stay true to the principles of conservatism, not to seek a false victory.

Rant all you'd like, 20 year old FR newbie. But it's not going to change the fact that Mcclintock, a far right conservative stands little chance of winning in far left California. My 30+ years involvment in California politics, and a firm grasp on reality tells me that.
