Man dies after allegedly being run over by girlfriend

(8/25/03 - SAN ANTONIO) — San Antonio police today detained an Atascosa woman after her boyfriend was run over in the parking lot of a bar -- and died.
Investigators say the man allegedly was seen with another woman early today, shortly before he was run over.
His girlfriend was driving an SUV.
Initial reports indicated 35-year-old Andres Salazar was married to his alleged attacker.
But police later said the 23-year-old driver was the victim's girlfriend.
Veronica Alaquinez has been charged with murder.
Bond is $250,000 dollars.

Remember the story posted here about the Texas dentist whose jealous wife ran him over in the hotel parking lot? Of course, she used a luxury car as befit her more affluent bracket. Crushed him right in front of his own horrified daughter.

His girlfriend was driving an SUV. If he had any sense, he would have kept the keys with him. :-/

They were both having affairs. Usually it's the gal that gets the sticky end, but in this case she showed equality. Somehow I see the bar being sued for serving her while she was drunk.

A couple of weeks ago, I heard a 70+ driver ran over his 70+ golfing buddy. Yes, with a golf cart.
Yes, it was fatal. Crushed pelvis from what I remember.
The 70+ is age. Not handicap.
